Anyone just amazed on how great 'Brake Lights' is? It was floating around the web as 'Change My Life' in poor quality, but from the remasters it seems that is the 1992 BBC Radio 1 session version of it. That version is more psychadelic pop compared to the, '94 Loco Studios version has a edgier, more raw ANS rock feel to it. The '92 version is my favorite for sure.

Sorry for a bit off-topic post, but was listening to the self titled debut album by an American band The Shore and I had to recommend them to anyone who posted in this thread, espcially Lennon2217, glider, carlober and mystoryisgory. This album "The Shore" by The Shore, released in 2004 could have been the new Urban Hymnus. I remember globe recommended me them back in time, as he got this album from his friend in the US. I stil love this album. I would share this album on here if I could, but here's a couple of songs from the album.

It's often overlooked but be sure to listen to the radio edit of 'History'. I find it to be the best mix of the song, and Nick's subtle touches on the outro adds a ton to the song's atomsphere. Would prefer a full length version of it.

^^I'm definitely excited for it. Interesting that there's no word on Urban Hymns yet (unless I missed it). Which funnily enough is what I'm listening to now.

Well that makes sense. Who would call for a Forth reissue? It came and went like a fart in the wind.

Didn't want to start a new Verve thread, as we're on the subject...
Now with the reissues we got to re-experience old favourites and uncover new tunes. Hopefully 'casual' fans got the chance to discover their amazing bsides too.
So I want to know is, what are your top 10 Verve songs?
Mine would be
Lucky Man She's a Superstar Slide Away So It Goes Rather Be
Space and Time Stormy Clouds + Reprise A Man Called Sun Butterfly (acoustic) - sounds so vicious for an acoustic! Where the Geese Go
Other notable tracks... Already There History Back on my Feet Again All in the Mind I see the Door
The new Shoeshine Girl and South Pacific are also extraordinary.

Bought my copy of the A Storm in Heaven box. It looks so much better than Chasing the Sun.

There's a chance for sure, but we didn't even get Snakeskin on the ASIH reissue. It's possible they're still holding back stuff for an anthology soon of some sort. I'd love a new verve track with Nick and co. on it we've never heard, but the majority of unreleased material taken between 96 and 97 were Ashcroft demos. Not sure what else you would expect for the DVD/Blu-Ray though. Heigh Hall was their biggest gig of the 90s.

We got 'Monte Carlo' and 'TCBMM' as bonus tracks on the singles CD, which no one had ever heard of before, so it's very likely there are more studio recorded tracks out there. There is one mentioned by Nick or Simon, that I cant remember the name of, but is meant to be great. I really don't care for the UH demo's though if I'm being honest, and would rather have some unreleased live tracks.
