That guy - Pete Lockett - is a percussionist and drummer who has worked with Peter Gabriel and Bjork - very good and very 'world music' he is. Great drummer by the way - should please everyone who doesn't want plodding shite.

"Yeah man we did this album with Pete and - let me tell you this, his fuckin brilliant mate - but you know man... we had to scrap it. I just couldn't be arsed with it." Either that or it'll be out in either March or October 2018 "because those are the only months for a Noel Gallagher release". ...Not that I'd be frustrated! To see him back in studio is great news. |

If he is as far as he claims to be with this next album, the only reason not to release it in 2017 (or earlier) is extreme laziness - of course that is usually a safe bet with Noel...
