I've said it time and time again, Pretty Green makes some awesome jackets and coats. Not out of this world expensive either unless it's leather. Very much in line with several USA clothing like Banana, JCrew, Nordstrom retailers. thus why you came to mind. Sure a rumour of a NY store been happening since PG started. Their coats aren't anymore expensive than their peers but are awesome!

Maybe meet the legend himself.

Another house in the city where I live blew up last night....probably an act by a hardcore bdi fan after some one talked negatively about the band.
God bless.

If Beady Eye were to have waited a few years before releasing their first album, DGSS could of looked something like this:
1. Flick Of The Finger 2. Four Letter Word 3. The Roller 4. Off At The Next Exit 5. In The Bubble With A Bullet 6. Evil Eye 7. The Morning Son 8. Soul Love 9. Wigwam 10. World Outside My Room 11. Bring The Light 12. Soon Come Tomorrow 13. Start Anew
Bonus tracks:
Iz Rite Second Bite Of The Apple Back After The Break Millionaire
Fantastic album.

Listened to BE again and I have to say, I really like what they did with this album. I think FTC outstays its welcome by a good minute and DBM should have been replaced with Girls in Uniform. With that, it would have been the best post Oasis album IMO.
The bonus tracks plus Evil Eye are terrific too but I feel the sound wouldn't fit on BE. Maybe make a good EP after.

Rumour: Liam is currently recording a new version of a Beady Eye song with altered lyrics as a response to the new All Saints single, "One Strike".
It is believed to be titled "(You Ain't My) Sole Love".

Why do people not love Second Bite of the Apple? Easily one of their best songs IMO.

Why do people not love Second Bite of the Apple? Easily one of their best songs IMO. Yeah I agree too. Instrumentally it's easily one of their best, but Liam's vocals in the verses sound way too much 'first draft' in nature for me to ever love it. Liam's delivery coupled with the dry vocal production the band pushed for is simply not good enough as far as I'm concerned and lyrically it's the same story. The melody is decent but it plods along in a way which instrumentally it doesn't really suggest. For me this doesn't completely ruin the song but I wouldn't be surprised if it did for others. Had it not been so undercooked I reckon it could almost go toe to toe with Flick of the Finger (not that I'm overly convinced by the vocal production on that one either) but I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

I think they'd have been a lot better off if they hadn't taken themselves so seriously to begin with, Liam saying he was a million percent confident they'd better than Oasis and things like that, they were never ever going to live up to that.
Playing a couple of Oasis songs was fine IMO, they're Liam's songs as much as they are Noel's. I do think they should have done that from the start though rather than putting faith in their DGSS material to sell tickets. Most people had lost interest by the time the second album came and faded away.

Most people had lost interest by the time the second album came and faded away. If you put BE up against HFB 1 then from view, theres not a big gap between them, I think had they released BE first, I think people wouldve been quite surprised with how good they actually are and their fanbase wouldve been bigger going into album 2. The song quality simply wasnt up to enough on DGSS, and the production style didnt make it any better. people had turned off by BE in 2013 and their marketing wasnt great so it wasnt pushed out to get people noticing it, the TV advert only went out at 11pm the night before release. alot of the people who Ive spoken to about beady eye didnt even know who they were let alone actually liking or disliking their music. I didnt mind them playing Noel songs per say, it was just a shame they spoke about playing rockin chair and boy with the blues and they proceeded to carry on playing the safe hits probably because they were using the covers to boost ticket sales so playing rarer tracks wouldnt of helped much.

Is it still cool to wear Beady Eye shirts? I think you have to be "tough enough".

Just stumbled across this one. What a bold move to start a gig with THAT. All The La's fans, notice Liam doing a Lee Mavers' "meow" at 2:55!

Just had 'Bring The Light on' for the first time in a while. I love that song, the 'you get enough, get enough' bits are Liam in full attack mode.

Why do people not love Second Bite of the Apple? Easily one of their best songs IMO. I think because it was a single. If I remember correctly, the "general" opinion was a good song, but a poor single. I think if it'd had only been an album track it wouldn't have gotten the hate it has gotten. I personally feel, parts of it are beady eye at their best, especially the "cmon show what you love now" bits, but then again the lyrics are poor and it's probably a little bit too long (too many "the world is up, if you're tough enough" repetitions), like most Beady Eye songs.

The second verse makes me cringe. Otherwise I don't really mind the lyrics. The chorus is simple and you can yell along, and I'm a sucker for horns.

I am too, that's why my favorite parts are with horns, but having said that, it is a bit much at times.

O.o I think you have misunderstood my post. What I'm trying to say is if Beady Eye would of waited a few years instead of rushing out an album they would of gathered together a better selection of songs for what would be their first album. It could of looked something like what I posted.
