i can't believe this was almost five years ago: liam proving all the naysayers wrong. i must have been just to the left of the guy shooting this video. this gig was EPIC, one of the best i've ever been to. my last post was inspired by yours especially gallagher gig related and beady eye gigs (at least some) were truly up there with oasis, noel acoustic, nghfb gigs... shame that more didnt see 'oasis minus noel' at those peaks which they hit

The music, band and crowd came away with something special that didnt always happen prior to that..

I seriously thought they would be back anyways. Just couldn't fathom them releasing an album and not doing anything in the US. I don't know, maybe the Gem head injury stalled whatever US chances there were. Still wished I could have seen them live.

still cant believe that we did not get a single full gig in high quality audio from the BE tour, I mean really??? wow really, is that right? but really when you look at it the BE tour was pretty much over before it started. what a shame. They played one London show which I couldnt make for some reason, so I never heard the BE songs live They were fucking awesome at the troxy and the Japan benefit gig that I did attend though!

what a shame not to have them now. in my mind, Beady Eye was the UK version of Spoon!!!they were close... and Spoon somehow always had a side as US modern alt version of oasis & britpop! Confusing...

my beady eye thought of the day: they should have given chris a microphone at the gigs so that he could have joined in the 'comin', comin', comin' up' part in wigwam

Even if you don't like DGSS, you've gotta admit that these three tunes are absolute ace:
Four Letter Word The Roller The Morning Son

I think I will give a listen to DGSS today. I am lucky to have seen them live. Their gig I saw (Vancouver commodore ballroom nov 29th 2011) was one of the best 'Oasis' gigs I've been to. Lots of energy, power, great vibes, some banter, and the songs were great live. I was right up in the very front, lost my voice by the end of Beatles & Stones!

I'd rather have Wigwam instead. They had already covered "Sons of the Stage" and another glam tune wasn't really needed Oh and nights out combined with posting on the internet STILL don't mix

Wow 5 years today, insane. Went and bought the cd in hmv on the day, was quite excited by a few of the tracks Four Letter Word, Wigwam & The Morning Son. Overall though it wasn't great sadly.

I've said it time and time again, Pretty Green makes some awesome jackets and coats. Not out of this world expensive either unless it's leather. Very much in line with several USA clothing like Banana, JCrew, Nordstrom retailers.
