With the BHN reissue and Supersonic coming up, it looks like the CY-cycle is finished? Or a dvd by christmas?

How beautiful "While The Song Remains The Same" sounds acoustically ? Just heard that cover, it's a little gem.
Wonder why Noel hasn't played it during his acoustic gigs... great, great lyrics aswell.

If I had a time machine, I'd go back to 1994 and ask Noel to perform some of the HFB songs. That would be swell! I bet he would get even more conceited though. "Wow, I write this 20 years from now? I'm a bloody genius!"

"Hang on a minute, I've just written Live Forever, Whatever, Half The World Away, Slide Away, Rock'n'Roll Star, Listen Up, Some Might Say, Wonderwall etc, and you're telling me that in 20 years from now I will be writing songs like What A Life!, Dream On and In The Heat of the Moment and make them singles ? That's fucking rubbish..."

I'd Pick You Everytime Revolution Song The Girl With X-Ray Eyes The Right Stuff While The Song Remains The Same Leave My Guitar Alone Here's A Candle (For Your Birthday Cake)
Which of these songs should he play live?

If he can get a female backing vocalist then he should do The Right Stuff. If not nothing at all, play Let The Lord... instead.

Revolution Song, Here's A Candle and Leave My Guitar Alone. Those are probably in my top 5 HFB songs so I'd die happy if I heard them live.

Yeah, well, I also listen to korean pop groups, imaginary idol groups from Japanese cartoons and Taylor Swift, tell me something I don't already know, m8. Although, when I say top 5 songs, I mean songs I am currently listening to the most, in a week the list will probably look completely different. Who knows, maybe I'll even like The Good Rebel next week which right now, I can't stand. Although to be fair, I still can't decide whether my taste in people is worse than my taste in music or vice versa.

Revolution Song. Would be absolutely massive live. Though an acoustic rendition of WTSRTS wouldn't be bad either.

Is Dying of The Light the only Chasing Yesterday that Noel has performed acoustically yet? I've been on an acoustic Oasis kick recently and I'm crestfallen that so many good songs on CY never got that beautiful treatment. The Girl with X-ray Eyes demo is acoustic.

I'm so confused right now. Just know that A-RISE is the best idol group. Then all will make sense.

I only saw the first episode and I must say I am extremely underwhelmed. In terms of britpop bands, Aqours is, like, Busted. Or maybe Beady Eye. I had hopes for the alien chick, but they ruined that too. Also, we might wanna stop congesting this thread with banter about animated idols because mods will kill us.

Revolution Song, The Girl With X-Ray Eyes, While the Song Remains the Same and Leave My Guitar Alone (in that order). Although, if he did get Joy Rose and a nice brass section together, I'd say The Right Stuff over TGWXRE.

Can Noel please My Big Mouth acoustically on tour? I remember reading a quote in which he said that he regretted not releasing an acoustic version of the song. Perhaps someone could pull up that quote for me, please?

That would be a real threat. I really hope that he will play something from 1997 to 'promote' the reissue. Most likely it will be Don't Go Away (I can't see that happening on festival, but suprise me Noel), Angel Child or D'You Know What I Mean? For some reason I don't think that will ever play Going Nowhere, maybe it has a special meaning to him (just like Sunday Morning Call )
