I have not listened to the record ever since the initial "buzz" release. Worrying ? That's how I work personally. I listen to it on the first days, then I lose interest. Then it can be weeks and then I listen to it again but repeatedly. I do that for any new record I buy. It's like my head needs time to process it. I didn't listen to it for a month and started listening to it repeatedly last week. But it's still not my favourite so I switch it up to other records from time to time. Not just NG but other bands. This usually doesn't happen when I love a record. Pretty much the same here yeah. Guess i'll get back to it when there's a slow music day. As for now, always something else to listen to. August is Wings month anyway for me, nothing can beat that.

Think of a Number is the best closer on a Gallagher-related studio album besides Champagne Supernova

Relistened to the first album a few weeks ago, and damn, I still can't believe why Noel thought it was a good idea to turn 'If I Had a Gun' into a stadium rock track. It's a pretty melody that was calling for a much more refined arrangement, à la Wonderwall. And Noel butchered it (drums don't fit at all aswell).

It should have been soft and restrained... but the album recording is a mess. And drums are shit on it.

Another new listen today, different speakers. Still too compressed for me, really hurts my ear. Too bad, there's something underneath. But it just gives me buzzing in the ear, its physically painful to listen to that record.

Russell Brand accused of rape, sexual assault and controlling behaviour. The Times have pretty damning medical evidence from victims of his. It's pretty horrific, he' always been hiding in plain sight for years so thoughts with his victims.
Who else is awaiting a bad take from his lapdog Noel who will suggest he's just been 'a naughty boy' and nothing more?

He’s been fairly distant from Brand the last few years (it feels like they might have had a falling out). The article also mentions that quite a few celebrities were interviewed. Gotta think Noel was among them. So it’ll be interesting to hear from him.

He's had nothing to do with Brand for the last couple of years (no idea whose choice it was, or maybe they just drifted apart), same as Matt really Noel may be a c*nt, but I think he realises this is different than being lound and shagging around a bit And to be fair, in his 30 years career I don't think anything particularly sinister has ever been rumored

Noel picks his company doesn't he though. Hangs about with total knobheads from Kate Moss to Brand, even going so far for that Putin lapdog Lebedev. As someone who works in Hollywood and entertainment, I can tell you that if you’re famous, you for sure keep shit company. That’s the landscape. It’s not particular to Noel.

The indulgence of so much crass and excess behaviour must normalise it in such exclusive and elite circles. It's just reinforced. Status, privilege, fame and fortune really does corrupt.

I really like Matt Morgan but I wouldn't be surprised if he had participated. He gives off a dodgy vibe.

Noel has way too many female friends to be privilege blind. Normalising sexual assault is one thing, but a rapist? He won't stick up for him.

Seems there are a bunch of teenagers on this forum. Is Noel responsible for what other people do? The assumptions some of you have are disturbing. And Noel hasn’t been close to Brand for a few years now. He’s absolutely not going to stick up for him here.

Who can forget. The list is endless with Noel’s c*** brigade. Thing I’ve always liked about Liam is he’s totally rejected that celeb mates thing, even more so when he’s explicitly said so and outright insulted Noel’s mates. In his own expletive ridden way, Liam has a point though. It’s that mass of ego and self indulgence egged on and supported by ‘elite’ pals that helps the likes of Brand and The Scum getting away with it. It’s an industry problem (as much as I hate to agree with James Cleverley) and while Noel doesn’t talk to him anymore, he was laughing and gurning along with Brands vile jokes and antics at the time, like all the other goons. It’s like with Jimmy Savile or Jim Davidson, they got away with it because they were indulged and allowed to.

In the entertainment industry, either you’re a piece of shit or you hire someone to be a piece of shit so you can remain clean. The only difference is how good you are at hiding it.

You are all hot and bothered about Noel and he hasn’t done anything. Meanwhile Liam got multiple random women pregnant and cheated on his wives. What’s this got to do with Liam? The events around it have nothing to do with Noel tbf. We were just discussing the company he keeps.
