Just came to mind that by playing Going Nowhere for the first time, it's not only Noel who revisits the original recording but Mike Rowe too, who played keyboards on the original version.

It was great for us no question, but when the writer's block hit, i bet he was smashing his head against the wall with all these gems already released. Consequence is now we're not getting anything more than necessary. |

Not in a sexual predator way, but he always makes it sound like the woman he's singing about is some kind of object or symbol or something, rather than an actual fellow person like himself. Calling them "girls" doesn't help, either. So yeah, mark me down as another one who can't stand that song. |

Top 3: X ray Eyes Riverman Do the Damage then The Right Stuff While the Song Remains the Same You Know We Can't Go Back Leave My Guitar Alone is fun too, and damn well produced. I fall asleep with the rest. |

"Open the Door, See What You Find" is such a guilty pleasure.
I can't say it's a great song... I dismissed it at first but there's something in it... the mood, probably. The perfect soundtrack for a summer morning.
