Random Youtube scroll-through and suddenly I get the live version of Lord Don't Slow Me Down suggested, had no idea this was ever played live, belter!

ITHOTM has lots going for it, but IMO the bass is what makes the song. Just fantastic. I have a borderline fetish for the moment the second verse kicks in, with the bass re-charged and that clean guitar-lick spinning off the " that loving man ain't no rolling stone!" melody.

Love that Noel and Ride are playing the same bill. Thought Noel and Andy had fallen out massively. They've obviously patched things up.

Did nobody post this yesterday? Been quiet round these parts. I forgot too, but remembered on 15th Feb. A day late, a dollar short: a super cover for my money. My 'love' to all

Love that Noel and Ride are playing the same bill. Thought Noel and Andy had fallen out massively. They've obviously patched things up. They've actually been on in the same bill before - saw them both in Newcastle in 2019. Dont think they ever fell out as much, but Noel threw him under the bus after the split ("Andy sat there examining his shoes"), Andy basically said he was full of shit but then said later there was no problem between them and he would always respect him. Get the impression they were never particularly close, Andy always seemed to gravitate more towards Liam.

Noel's solo career featured in places. NGHFB era:leftovers from poorly produced Oasis. CY era:should get out of his comfort zone. WBTM era:Noel is out of his comfort zone but fans want classic Noel style. CS era:Noel back to his style but fans want more experimental songs. Future acoustic album: Noel does it due to the great success of Dead in the Water but fans think it's boring. 6 albums era: Noel records it in the psych ward. Assuming that this is just my opinion so it's useless to attack me I think we should simply enjoy the music of our favorite artist (if it is) and not give us too many mental jerks since every artist's career is made up of beautiful songs and other less beautiful ones. Peace, love and bananas!

I wish that Noel would release a live album or two like Liam has. OK we had the live DVD in 2011 but nothing else since and I would love some more live stuff from Noel.

Agreed Obviously I don't expect anything at the moment with Council Skies due to be released but he could release a live album in between when he's got nothing new coming out.

Love this line. Also, the "All we need is love and a place to call home" from FOTG always does something on me. Those two songs hit differently after Noel & Sara announced their split. Those songs also have such a different tone from everything that came right before it in Noel's discography, too. Completely agree, FOTG I still strongly maintain is one of the best songs he's written in his solo career. Lyrics sound completely different now in context of the the split as I presume it was written when things were going south.

Chasing Yesterday has made Paul Weller's pretty random 22 Favourite albums of all time along with Beatles REvolver, Gaye's What's Going On and some more. According to this article it's by "Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Bird" [sic] faroutmagazine.co.uk/paul-weller-22-favourite-albums/

Weller's an eclectic dude and CY has a little bit of everything you could want from Noel and then some. He's also a true MadFerIt since his favorite Oasis song is allegedly One Way Road

It amazes me the few listeners both Noel and Liam have on Spotify. Mediocre alternative artists have much more.

Who Built The Moon in hindsight: What clues did Noel leave that suggest he knew his marriage was over? 🤔
“If love is the law then this is a crime” “Love lies dead in the water” “You gotta get yourself together”
