I have no more information about this, but rumour has it that Noel is announcing something next week. Probably more gigs right? Maybe in the UK? Wish it was new music related but not getting my hopes up. It is time for Noely G to get his groove back!  |

I saw the Sleaford Mods at Nottingham Arena at the weekend.
In their intro playlist they played Temper Temper.
Not a tune you hear out in the wild often! Have to say, it sounded good over an arena sound system.

Just let it come down over me... Is this the only recording of him playing it live? It's certainly in my top 10 HFB songs. Fingers crossed we'll get a physical release one day. I love singing this for my kids.

Would make sense to get the pre-orders out of the way before Xmas if he actually has an album to announce. First single at some point too, album in March, tour in the spring/summer/etc. That's the optimist's take. But like the Arctic Monkeys he'll probably wait on the album and push it back closer to 2023.

I doubt very much that Noel will have a new album out early next year. I'm looking at late next year or early 2023.

If the album was going to be out in time for the summer gigs this would already have been announced as it would be a key selling point in selling the shows.
The album won't be out until October/November at the earliest in my opinion. Best case scenario we might get a couple of singles out before June, or maybe an EP or two.

Very silly music video but one of my favourites from Noel. If there was one thing I could change about Noels solo career it would be the (mostly) crap music videos. I think this is probably the worst of the lot. I wish he wouldn't bother for the most part, the only two I think I actually like are What A Life and Ballad Of The Mighty I. If they ever compile all the music videos onto a DVD like they did with Time Flies it would be a torturous watch. |

Radiohead doesn't use just one director but they do sometimes use their good friend Paul Thomas Anderson ... who also happens to be one of the greatest living directors, so y'know that doesn't hurt. They've also used Michel Gondry (who directed Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind), Jonathan Glazer (Under The Skin) and even Jake Scott who just directed the Oasis Knebworth doc, as well as some interesting up-and-comers. If you want to make a great video then hire someone who has some kind of vision. If you just want to get the video out of way and don't really care about the content then ... you tend to get out what you put in ... |

Heathern Chemistry was pretty poor, although it had a few decent songs on it. Could never understand a cover on a bands album. smacks of laziness....even if I actually think its one of best songs kn the album. Force of nature. |
