Not at all. The BBC Radio 2 gig was just what I needed to keep myself interested again.
Roll on 2016. (and hopefully a gig in Scandinavia).

And his interviews? I mean, I love his albums and Chasing Yesterday is brilliant in my opinion. The Ballad of the Mighty I is up there IMO. But it's getting to the point where it is getting so fucking boring listening to him ramble on about the future of Rock and Roll and his opinion on the Working Class and this and that. We get it Noel, your hate everything that isn't the Beatles and Man City. Just shut up and record songs and oh yeah, mix up your live set you old git. All he ever talks about is football, his new celebrity friends, what he hates and his wife. At least Liam stays out of the Limelight. Yeah, I get it, he's not in a group but neither is alot of the idiots that make the Daily Mail showbiz section. Noel's incessant need to have an opinion is wearing thin now. Your nearing 50, just shut up and do your job.

People need to understand that the press loves to paint a certain someone as a 'bad guy' and another as the 'good guy'. They manipulate the images of public figures to their own needs: to sell their stuff. In this case, Liam often is labelled as the bad guy and Noel is made to be the cool and funny guy that makes everyone laugh. I believe they're both good and bad in their own ways though and they're talented in their own ways definitely.

I think it's two things:
1) He's ran out of stories. We know everything about his background, his childhood, his family, his upbringing, the formation of Oasis, the breakup of Oasis, the bands that inspired him, getting drunk with Morrissey, Russell Brand, Johnny Marr, walking past Tesco one day and Brian fucking Protheroe.
2) He talks too much about Sarah and the kids and family life and boring trivialities that aren't interesting. I'm going to kill myself if we ever have to listen to him talk about his favourite flavour of Monster Munch again. There's no mystique there anymore.
I used to get excited when Noel had an upcoming chat show appearance and I'd religiously read his interviews in music mags and listen to him on the radio. These days I can barely be arsed, there's rarely anything new or insightful that comes out of it.

He's far more interesting when talking about music. You made my day HAHAHAHa

He's far too wiling to go on Talksport and chat utter inane bollocks with Goldstein and the weird thing is, his 'gimmick' is that he doesn't want to be there, it's such a contradiction at times. His demeaner of been bored all of the time for me is the thing that has worn thin for me.

He doesn't ask himself the questions Fair point, maybe he could be more selective with who he chooses to do interviews with then. He has more than enough power to tell his managerial team. Sadly, I think the truth of the matter is that he likes the sound of his own voice.

Exactly, I mean, we all love the tunes as we wouldn't be here but it's all got a bit silly now with his interviews and what not. "Noel Gallagher has got a new album out in support of his next group of interviews"

I love this guy and I`m okay with everything but two things:
this incredible shitty and stupid press conference he made back then before NGHFB started. put one some great event where he told us about projects that he scrapped and tongue to cheek comments about the oasis split that got a shitstorm started.
and his lazyness with the setlist and blaming that on Liam during Oasis.

It's annoying as fuck to hear him tell the same stories in every single interview, though this is partly the interviewers fault, but could easily be avoided by informing them of what not to ask.

He doesn't do that and it's a thing I respect tbh The thing is that journos nowadays are as lazy as Noel, and I'm saying this while wanting to become a journalist myself (a sports one tho)

Why are you giving these people an easy job? "Hey Noel, whats your view on Adele?" "Hey Noel, what do you think of Hip Hop?" I'd have much more respect if he said, "It's alright". After years and years of quotes that would be brilliant.

Not to be disrespectful but what if he is indeed grumpy and actually doesn't like Adele? Why would he say otherwise? Just don't read his interviews if they rattle you that much you had to create a thread to complain...

Part of me feels like it is a character he portrays. He admits to liking Xfactor and WWE. He stop been a silly goose and lighten up.

Well then, that's his problem is people perceive him as something he really isn't. About the Adele thing (because you especifically created this thread about the Adele controversy started), why does he HAVE to like her or Hip-hop? Isn't he allowed to dislike them?

No, he doesn't need to like them, it's just a shame that his views on matters that are, ultimately, not that important have really started to overtake the music. He's known for his quotes rather than his tunes now and that is a shame.

So it upsepts you when he talks about Man City, The Beatles, his celebrity friends and his wife and family and it upsets you when he talks about other artists other than saying they are 'alright'. Conclusion: (as some others have stated) stop reading/listening to his interviews.
