Not in the slightest, but I do worry when he goes too far sometimes. IMO he's a very smart, funny guy and his interviews are the ones worth reading out there.

Didn't you write almost the same post around 2012? :/ Haha, your right. I just checked. I'd forgotten about that.

I'm definitely sick of Noel's setlists. I didn't even bother downloading that new Radio 2 bootleg from a few days ago, cos its the same old shit being played. Agree with you about his boring set lists but that's actually the most different gig he's done for years, honestly give it a listen - new arrangements and band at least.

Ive always brought up the electric proms gig as a gig that he annoyed me abit as he was calling out his celeb pals like daniel craig etc and dedicating falling down to russell brand, just felt weird to me.
take him going out and about, that picture of him hanging out with david and victoria beckham, then there was that picture of Liam down the pub hanging out with bonehead and some other random people, granted Noels probably more well known nowadays because of his solo stuff.
there was abit during that radio 2 gig where he turned around and was like "I dont even remember your name" to one of the brass players and I just thought, you could show him just a bit of respect, its not like youve got a 50 piece choir stood at the back, fair play theyre session musicians but you dont have to be QUITE so rude about it you know?

To be fair, that was when Russell got sacked from the BBC and was going through a rough period...so it was quite lovely actually On the celebrity thing...I've said it in another thread,HE IS a celebrity and is allowed to have celebrity frieds, but he's not one of those Daily Mail (even tho they're so far up his arse) z-list celebs,he's not an attention seeker and hangs out with "normal" people too...he's living the life,so fair play to him

I dont mind him having celeb friends but when was the last time you saw a picture of Noel chilling in a random pub with bonehead etc? Liams a celeb too but he just seems to be happier living a life like any normal guy, I remember that video of Liam talking to guy outside a pub before BE came out, one fan even mentioned some while ago that when he met Liam he spoke to him for a good 10 minutes just about stuff but when he tried to talk to noel he was physically pushed away by his bodyguard (I know its his job) but that seems to be the difference from my perspective. im not trying to make this Noel vs Liam I just find that Liam seems like a really nice guy off stage but I dont know theres something about Noel that makes me think hes abit of bastard when he wants to be, I certainly dont believe Noel is so innocent when it comes to the oasis break up as he makes out.

Jo Whiley introduced it as a concert of b-sides and rarities. Yes, half the concert was b-sides, but rarities? I don't think so.

Out of all the members in Oasis, he's the one who's most seen hanging out with celebs since I don't know....since Oasis became successful. If he likes surrounding himself with different circle of people then what can we do with that? I mean, those people aren't bad people anyway, they're musicians and some actors. But he does have "normal guy" friends. And we know he hates having his photograph taken. The guy took a selfie only once in his life, only take photos of his wife, doesn't even take photo of his kids (or maybe keeps them only to himself.) The only people he willingly allows to take his photos are probably his wife and Bono...lol

He clearly isn't so innocent, but that's not the point If you look on Instagram or Twitter they're full of people who've met Noel in a restaurant,on the tube,in a shop,in a supermarket etc. If you look on HIS Instagram, you also see his profile picture - with Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss. But I do remember that Paul Gallagher mentioned in his book that even as a teenager Noel always wanted to hang out with the coolest crowd, so whenever I see him posing with Bradley Coooper or whoever, I have to think of that.

Can't argue with that But even if you think about Kate, they've been friends for like 20 years, which is odd for the celebrity world innit?

i have to say also im a sucker for watching noel interviews on youtube and spend hour after hour watching and rewatching what ive already seen the guy is funny as fuck and honest to the last,,ive only seen HFB once and it was his 1st tour and he was amazing lots of interaction with the crowd all night something that liam lacks when beady eye played as RFB mentioned above his back catelogue is full to the brim of classics he could learn again to shake things up my ideal noel solo set of oasis / HFB songs for a short 10 song set
carry us all lets all make believe stop the clocks TGWXE WTSRTS the fame flashbax going nowhere DYKWIM come on inside

I know people will say he was just joking on the radio about it being their job and almost making it sound like they dont deserve a thankyou etc but theres nothing wrong with being pleasant to people who arnt featured in the dailymail either, had that been johnny marr sat in the back I expect he wouldve made sure he got a mention. He couldve simply said "yea they are great group of guys"

Listen. If you're so tired of him, then don't fucking listen, watch or read anything that has to do with him. It's not that hard to grasp. Also, I couldn't care less who he hangs out with, it's none of my business. Famous people? Musicians? Yeah, so what? Look at people like Chris Martin, Russell Brand, Kate Moss etc. They've been friends for years, some even for decades! "Liam stays out of the spotlight" Oh please. That's the best thing he can do right now, isn't it? I mean, he was in the spotlight enough with his lovechilds and affairs. "Liam hangs out with normal people" Oh, I'm so glad you know exactly who all of his friends and acquaintances are. I hope you feel really proud! I also have no idea what that has to do with this thread.
