I thought it had already been certified a 15? Certified by our domestic censors as a 15 certificate without being cut at any point as listed in the link, but that is only for the UK so other countries may vary.- BBFC- SupersonicIn The Netherlands for example Netherlands Institute for the Classification of Audiovisual Media has rated it via Kijkwijzer (Supersonic) as a 12 certification. Those are actually the only countries the film got rated so far. They already filed in for 12 at FSK in Germany but it´s not listed yet at their site. Edit: which I just realised I already said in the other post yesterday, so sorry haha

More importantly does it feature midgets? Confirmed: NO MIDGETS. No Midget Gems either? Or midget impersonators of the erstwhile Heavy Stereo guitarist for that matter?

You can tell by the trailer alone that this docu will be quality - it looks well put together.
Does anyone know the actual run time?
I'm also surprised Oasis Management didn't buy the documentary off of Entertainment One as to own the rights to it.

Can't remember the exact number, but it's just shy of two hours. Mind you, that's including the end credits. From the first 'scene' to the last there's probably about 105 minutes of film. Not bad, considering there was only supposed to be 80-90 minutes of stuff in it, a few weeks back.

I don't know about anybody else but: www.amccinemas.co.uk/film/?F=142205&C=8627I've just bought a pair of tickets for the film AND the live-stream of the Q&A afterwards as well 'From award-winning director Mat Whitecross, SUPERSONIC tells the remarkable story of iconic band Oasis – in their own words. Featuring extensive unseen archive, SUPERSONIC charts the meteoric rise of Oasis from the council estates of Manchester to some of the biggest concerts of all time in just 3 short years. This palpable, raw and moving film shines a light on one of the most genre and generation-defining British bands that has ever existed. THIS SPECIAL SCREENING INCLUDES A LIVE BROADCAST OF A Q&A AFTER THE FILM.'

I really like this quote: "The caricature that persists is that Noel is the cold, calculating talented one and Liam is the chaotic one but I think there's so much more to them than that. I think there's a lot introspection in Liam. He's incredibly perceptive about his own character and his weaknesses. He's got an amazing psychedelic mind and I think if you get in there some of the stuff he says is like poetry. You have to write everything down. It's fucking brilliant."

Come the fuck on whoever's holding this information back, release the full list of where the film's being played, already!...

Good to hear that Madman got the rights in Australia just in case there's no US Blu-ray. If the UK Blu-ray ends up being region locked, Madman's releases are region free and are usually pretty cheap to import to the US even when you take shipping in to account. Of course there is also Japan or Korea which are the same region as the US but the Japanese version especially will be pretty expensive.

Would be interesting to know where that running times come from. In the link from yesterday by supernovadragon it says 152 minutes (maybe including the Q&A but how do they know how long this will be when it´s live) and in the link by frogerz it says 121 mins. BFFC now has 117 www.bbfc.co.uk/releases/supersonic-2016 and 119 mins www.bbfc.co.uk/releases/supersonic-2016-0German Amazon lists the BR now with 117 and the DVD with 113 mins. UK Amazon lists both with 122. I´m happy with everything longer than 90 mins but still. Also do we know if there will be maybe an extra dvd or a soundtrack?

By the way, Oasis management isn't doing any promotion for this (besides the social media posts, which are free and don't cost anyone anything) because they're not making any money off this. They only get involved with stuff released by the record label.
