Jason What-his-face of Entertainment Focus (whatever that is) probably can't believe his luck that he's on all the artwork. Surely he'll be bumped for Ted Kessler of Q's 'masterpiece' quote?

I wasn't really expecting a full blown marketing campaign but you might expect the Oasis youtube channel to have the trailer up first and for the trailer to be out a reasonable distance before the release.
As far as the Knebworth release goes I wouldn't expect them to package it together but I would expect it to follow not to long after the films release as it will basically serve as the ultimate trailer for the gig.

Don't worry Knebworth will be out on it's 23rd anniversary of course.

Bodes well for the extras on a lavish box set 2 disc version.... Released over at least four separate reissues to ensure the maximum amount of loot can be wrung from it

If anyone has any questions regarding the film, my mate saw it tonight. He works behind the scenes in film and had the chance to see it. He said it was class. Obviously he can't give too much away but I can ask him general stuff if anyone is interested.

My main point is about the trailer itself.
Cartel Land was released July 3rd, while the trailer was posted on June 3rd.
What happened Miss Simone didn't receive a trailer until 3 months after Sundance and a month before it hit Netflix.
Winter on Fire didn't release a trailer until 5 days after its release.
The commonality is that the above are Oscar nominated and had small production budgets and crews. They had little fan far or few social media mentions, even by the production team until late in the game. Sometimes only a couple weeks prior to release.
Documentaries are notorious for haphazard releases, often times with many things falling into place on the fly.
Because in the end, they have small budgets and even if they are attached to a major studio or entity, they are usually lowest on the priority list.

They had me at drugs. It is to be accompanied with a crate of beer and a bag of fucking charlie, and don’t be making any plans for the next couple of days. -Noel Gallagher

Needs to be said: I was feeling terribly low (even more so than usual) yesterday, and I read through the updates of this thread last night and smiled and felt instantly better.
So thanks, you fuckers.

Here's a question:
Is there going to be a storyline we don't already know about?

I thought it had already been certified a 15? Certified by our domestic censors as a 15 certificate without being cut at any point as listed in the link, but that is only for the UK so other countries may vary.- BBFC- SupersonicIn The Netherlands for example Netherlands Institute for the Classification of Audiovisual Media has rated it via Kijkwijzer (Supersonic) as a 12 certification.
