I'm starting to wonder if this is going to end up being put back a few weeks.
Just seems mad that promotion is still so limited just over a month ahead of release.

That Lorton site is really odd. The passage about the film is riddled with punctuation mistakes and in general is written very poorly. Not appropriate for a professional site and shows they didn't bother to hire a proper publicist. Given the date still show as summer, clearly there is also no marketing plan or person keeping everything up to date.

It is strange the lack of promotion by those involved, and unless there is some legal issue surrounding material in the film then I can't see what would be causing the delay. That said it wouldn't be a surprise given Oasis history with retrospective reissues to see it put back at some point.

Could it be because they'll be showing / premiering the trailer at Festival No6 this weekend and so, if the trailer had been released prior to that screening, ticket holders might complain / ask for a refund? Just a random thought, obviously and guess we'll know more once that 'screening' has taken place...

If the balls being sucked are Bonehead's, that's probably where the extra twenty minutes of runtime has come from... And " [there is] frequent use of strong language (...'fuck')"? Of course there is. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm still not over this "no talking heads" thing. I don't think I've ever seen a doc like this

I'm still not over this "no talking heads" thing. I don't think I've ever seen a doc like this I've seen a few like it, and although I am not sure it's the right format to use for an Oasis documentary I will reserve judgement until I have seen it. TBH I am more baffled by the utter lack of promotion for what initially appeared to be geared up as a major release of it's type. Hopefully it can generate some press (Debbie Gwyther? ) and not become a 'forgotten' release by all but the fans who were already into the band...

If they want to sell the film worldwide they need to start promoting it right now, I can't understand why is this taking so long.

And this is exactly why Oasis never broke out massively in America.... their marketing team or teams have always made poor decisions and dropped the ball.
Terrible

I have been told, that the trailer will be released after the reunion, by a source close to Beady's Mighty Eye.
