This Dutch DJ who really likes Oasis has already seen it. He says it was awesome, a bit long but that it's great visually, has good images and gives a good look into their music.

I know I said this about the last Bond film, and there's absolutely no doubt now, that that film definitely WAS too long, but I can't imagine me ever finding a film about 90s Oasis - that's being projected onto the silver screen no less(!) - overlong.
HD footage of the band playing live, brand new interviews with Liam and Noel, footage of them recording (What's the Story) Morning Glory... I'd be quiet and stay sat in my seat for 4 hours if they wanted me to...
And anyway, in the year that Be Here Now finally gets its reissue, it's only right the runtime of this film is a little... generous, perhaps.

We originally heard 90 minutes, yeah, but then someone found it listed on an Amazon page (probably the Dutch one again, you guys get everything early), and it had a runtime of 112 minutes there, so I dunno. I guess we shall see... |

This trailer really does need to drop pronto-tonto. We know only too well there are plenty of people who, like the guy above, have never given Oasis a chance (for whatever reason that may be - though, let's be honest, it nearly always ends up being "the Gallagher's are dicks"), but maybe, some of them will go and see this film on a whim, or as a favour for a friend, and surprise themselves like this guy has. Now, I'm guessing us lot on here'll probably enjoy it whatever, but if the film can manage to turn new people onto the band's music, then it'll really have achieved something. But first, people need to know that the film is ACTUALLY A THING. Start ramming it down people's throats now, with the trailer and then shortened versions stuck on before YouTube videos, and down the side of webpages. With only a month left, it needs to get so people can't move for hearing about it. D'you know it doesn't even have a Wikipedia page yet? That's how well known this film is outside the Oasis fanbase. Christ, even Tony McCarroll has a Wikipedia page... |

Maybe there are twenty minutes of scenes that could not be upscaled in HD format for the Blu-ray release. Unlikely as that would mean the film itself would have that issue. It's more likely just an incorrect runtime listed that will be later corrected. |

The DVD / BR is also listed on some other Amazon sites, such as the Spanish one, if I remember correctly.... However, it always seems to be the 'German' edition (i.e. 'languages: German and English') they've listed... |

If I was Mat Whitecross I'd be seriously pissed off. The film's due out in just over a month and there isn't even a trailer. Incredible.
I don't know what the hold up is but how long does it take to come up with a two or three minute selection of clips FFS? I, and I reckon loads of other people on here, could do that in an afternoon.
