Have we had a list of cinemas that will be showing the film on October 2nd? No. That's what I am waiting on. I think it might be a 1 off showing job, simultaneously nationwide. Ala The new touring Beatles film. Then onto DVD 2 weeks later. |

I doubt there will be a US release, but there are music festivals that have a music films section (SXSW, Noisepop in SF) so there should be opportunities. And I'm sure it will hit Netflix which is where most people get films anyway.
I'm overdue for a trip to Europe, and I'm going to use this as an excuse to clock out of work and actually book the ticket. I wish they'd have the details firmed up so I could finalize dates.

I think the trailer will be released after 4 September when some footage of the doc will be shown at that festival. That makes sense.

It looks like sometime between now and Friday. Although it's not exactly a biblical prediction since we are almost 1month out..
I've been breaking the balls (in a respectable way) of pretty much everyone involved on the production side... Luckily I got a few responses that point to this.
Today is likely a write-off as it's the def/maybe anniversary and they won't take away from that chatter. I think tomorrow if not late thurs early Friday. Unless they decide to do more changes if will be highly unlikely this doesn't get released by the end of the week.
Lots of news and hype around the band/liam-noel atm. Really exciting times for us fans.
