The lyrics better be better at least. IF they're on a par with All For One, then it will be something like: "Beautiful thing, just like a ring/put it on your finger and make me sing'. Saw this in facebook comments section "Beautiful thing, if we all hold hands we'll build a ring" Haha! Even better - makes more sense! It was twitter I saw one say 'put a ring on my thing, you beautiful thing'!

The real news is that for the first time the often-cited various sources of NME were right

People are already hearing it somewhere and they say it's good (hope I don't give too much hope for people here)!

Apparently it's on Spotify? Maybe only in certain countries.
I'm just gonna wait the extra 15 minutes.

Why wasn't this one the lead single, instead of All For One?

I don't know, sounds like it could use a bigger chorus to me. Instrumental is cool though.

This is more of what I was expecting with a comeback single. Backwards guitars.....yes please! Already tens of thousands of miles better than "All For One". Now I'm definitely curious to hear a lot more. Thanks for the link.

Like it at first listen. Could have "exploded" a bit more though.

Sounds like the Roses actively trying to write a Roses song, what with the gentle groove, Reni on backing on vox, and Squire going to work on that wah-wah pedal. But then they are really good at that kind of thing, so I can't have too many complaints.

Feels like it's building up to something all song but never quite gets there. Not bad.

That wouldn't sound out of place on Second Coming.

Like it at first listen. Could have "exploded" a bit more though. Yeah, I was maybe waiting for some crazy guitar solo or something. But I'm not complaining, really great song

I I agree. I really like it but it sounded like ready to explode into something bigger, but didn't happen
Good job anyway, thanks Roses

Better. Much much better.
This isn't a pop song ala the debut album so I don't think it should be docked points for lacking a big chorus personally, as it's meant to maintain a restrained, laid back groovy feel. Think this tune is more in tandem with their dance infused songs of 1990, rather than the retro poppy influence of the debut and hard rock of Second Coming.
Because we've not had much of that middle phase between the first and second album, I'm more than happy with this track.

Its weird how one song can affect what I think of another. I didn't hate All For One in the first place but hearing it straight after it felt a bit more natural.
For the record though, anyone who likes a smoke will currently be drifting off to another slow motion universe populated by dancing animals.
