So I get The Coral and the Buzzcocks then. Well I actually know who both those bands are, so pretty chuffed there. And it's a damn sight better than The Courteeners, that's for sure! Better get to listening to mkoasis's Buzzcocks playlist in preparation... |

I can't say I'm a fan but I definitely like their songs (Ever Fallen In Love, I Don't Mind, Boredom, What Do I Get?). It's just that I'm a huge fan of British (indie) rock so I rarely get to see my favourite bands. Do you know The Coral? Dreaming of You and Pass It On are nice songs. E: Oh, you said earlier you know both of them. But if you haven't heard those songs yet, you should listen to them  |

I should clarify, that is list of my personal favourites, the first half by Pete Shelley, the second half by Steve Diggle. Most of their biggest songs are missing from this list. If you want to get to know their biggest songs, definitely listen to Singles Going Steady, which is all their singles from 77-81. That said, there's still so much that could be added to my list: Jerk, It's Not You, Noise Annoys, I Believe, Girl from the Chainstore. I think I'll stop there. Otherwise I'd go on forever. |

So "All For One" finally popped up on my iTunes at random. It's been about two weeks since the first and only time I played it. Didn't leave me with a lasting impression. Guitar parts are cool. Lyrics are absolutely brutal. Did a toddler write those in pre-school?

shame really, still no better now, the song starts off strong and just gradually falls into generico land, the guitar solo brings back up momentarily.

Looking forward to seeing what songs they play tonight. I know they've soundchecked Elephant Stone, All For One and Waterfall so them 3 are probably in the setlist. No surprises there though.
