With luck, the release of Who Built the Moon will prove Chasing Yesterday to be a transitional album. The hodgepodge of styles on CY means that you can hear echoes of BOTMI, WTSRTS, and The Right Stuff in the new clips, and there's the obligatory retro Noel songs in The Dying of the Light and Lock All the Doors. Right between his debut and Who Built the Moon, probably leaning more toward the debut.

Probably missed it somewhere, but to be sure: all iTunes show the length of the songs (i guess)? The Dutch one does

All hindsight I guess, but 2017 is a great time for Liam to come back. I think the Supersonic documentary really rejuvenated interest in the Gallagher brothers. The film felt like such a celebration Honestly I think Supersonic is a big part of it. Especially Noel's US tour venues. That doc was oddly popular here[it being on Amazon Prime]. People here thought it was hilarious, and I know of a few people that saw it and then discovered Oasis/Noel/Liam post 1995 that they didn't know existed. WTSMG was huge here in the US then they essentially vanished. Many casual fans from 20 years ago rediscovered the Gallaghers this past year. amazingly my teen daughter- who rarely listens to anything 'old'- is obsessed with Oasis at the moment and is highly entertained by LG.

Like the sound of the tracks. I'm sure people were worried about The Beatles changing sound and I'm sure they lost fans to it too. My dad brought me up on bands like Rush yet he hates their 80s albums. You can't like everything but I'm sure NG will win a lot of new fans by taking the leap.

If this is legit (and yes I know getting excited about track times is dumb in a way), I'm liking what I see. An album centrepiece with three long-ish tracks (long by his standards anyway), looks like the album will be full of twists and turns. Excitement building!

Really don't know what to think, definitely not what I was expecting but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The trailer has kind of left me with more questions than answers.
I have a feeling I'll probably prefer As You Were but I'm excited to hear the rest of this album.

I get the vibe that the back half of this album is going to run together like the back half of Abbey Road.

I really like the first track in the clip. Good that Noel finally came out of his comfort zone.

Left the clip alone for a few hours and then came back. It's perfect - this is EXACTLY what I wanted from Noel. If this accurately represents the sound of the album, I think we could be in for something very special. This might be the most excited I've ever been for an album, after A Moon-Shaped Pool.
