Gotta give it to Noel. He's been quiet as a mouse about album #3. We know its done. We know the first single name. We know a video was made. He's done interviews and popped up here and there but still nothing. For Noel I'm impressed. Why do I feel like he's staying silent until after Liam's comes out? Just my thought but probably wrong.

Could def be. I'd love for both bros to announce a single and a month later the album drops. Less fuss. More direct. Won't happen though.

I''m just riding the wait out like the supercool mother hubbard I am
Looking 12 months on from the release Wall of glass. We'll have had 2 Gallagher Albums and probably 8 Singles with a good few bonus tracks.
Relax kids.
Good times are coming.

Chris Moyles referred to the interview with Noel today saying it will be aired "in a couple of weeks", and it was a wide ranging interview, including about Noel's new music.
End of the month, then.

Also mentioned a little later on that its a good few months coming up, with Liam, Noel and Stereophonics albums due out. So out in a few months then.

The evidence seems to be gathering that this album has been pushed back from it's original Nov. 9 release date. If they aren't even doing the announcement until mid-to-late Sept, then there's no way they are releasing a whole album a month later. Let's just hope Noel idiot management didn't push back to March 2018

They were going to do early September and early November for a single and album release. It could easily be late September for a single and late November for an album.

There will be at least one month between the announcement and release. I think the reason why Liam (Warner) did 4 months between the announcement and release was because now he got pre-orders from the whole (festival) tour he did, almost a guaranteed #1.
If Noel's doesn't do that, no way he will be #1.

About the same time frame as now, and Noel did get a #1.

He carried strong hype after the Manchester benefit & festival tours.

Both Noel and Stereophonics are associated with Ignition Management and Records. The original release date of Stereophonics' new album was November 3. I recently checked and as of right now the Stereophonics' website is now advertising a release date of October 27. So what could be happening is that in order to avoid competing with Taylor Swift's November 10 release date, Ignition could be pushing the Stereophonics up a week in order to slot Noel in the following week. That way Ignition has a better chance of having two records chart at number one before Taylor Swift arguably dominates the charts for the next month or so.

That would make a lot of sense, but somehow I don't feel that will be the case (I hope I'm wrong, though). Last time the first single was released so close to the album was with Go Let It Out.

The "hype" is gone at this point.
Now I'm just annoyed with the lack of info.

Lyla was released 2 weeks before the album (same as GLIO) and Shock was only 1 week before (I think)
