It's not a beautiful world when Noel Gallagher calls his album a Beautiful World.
That's an even worse title than the two BDI album titles. As You We're.

With the ongoing tour, he is going to give some interviews (if not, weird). Can we expect some news this month? Official or not?

I'm pretty excited for this, but I am easy to please and easily excited when it comes to anything Gallagher. The Riverman, While the Song Remains the Same, The Right Stuff and the Ballad of the Mighty I were the highlights for me from the last album. They were different enough but still enough of the same to make me feel he still has it.
If you gave me an album of While the Song Remains the Sames I'd be thrilled honestly. Modern and Spacey but still Noel. Perfect.

I´m sure LG x will throw some shade at Noel if that´s the actual title of the album. And to be fair, him partnering with U2 and the title of album being that is a bit of a coincidence...but hey, it´s a positive title like Lennon2217 says.
What matters for me more is the song´s quality.

Noel needs to crank up the gain on his amp and make those guitar sound mighty again. I really hope there's more rock 'n' roll in his third solo album.

How about this?
That's gotta be the intro of one of the new songs. He wouldn't come up with such a riff on the spot.

And what's rock 'n' roll anyway? If that means an album full of dull rockers I say no, thank you very much. Personally I love the bit after 3:20 in that soundcheck clip, when he puts a lot of delay+reverb, he plays a quick riff and then he starts strumming the EOTR main chords. I'd love to hear more of that stuff from Noel. Something more spacious and moody.

he went into the studio with nothing, so this won't be a part of the album if that statement was true

He's been recording the album since 2014. Surely it wouldn't be strange for him to play one of the riffs at a soundcheck.

I hear a lot of interesting things in various bits of this. Why is it we only hear this in soundchecks? Why doesn't this come through in the actual songs? I'm not interested in dull rockers, like someone else said, but I personally think Noel has a great feel on guitar, very melodic and although often derivative, still recognizable as his style. It's a shame we don't hear much of that nowadays.

More riff goodness from the same soundcheck. This one sounds almost like Hell's Bells.

Who knows, we might hear a bit more guitar this time. If the songs were written by messing about in the studio, maybe a few of them are written around good guitar riffs or baselines.

I would assume guitar and some drums. What else can Noel noodle with in studio?

He's pretty good at coming up with basslines and he's also written some decent keyboard parts in the past, so there are other possibilities.

Noel's at his best when he's playing to his strengths. That is the guitar. He can do those other things but is a master of none.
