Strangely, after what happened with Amorphous Androgynous, I have some 10% fear left that he is scrapping the whole thing again. No chance. These U2 gigs are strategically planned to run right into his own album release and eventual winter tour. Well, he also had a parallel album recording going on whilst he was recording with AA, so it's not that he wouldn't have been doing that before. |

So I would assume a new single by mid July and possible album announcement. He may well announce his album before Liam at this rate! |

Indeed. If his past releases are any indication, we'll get the first single in July or August, and the second single in September/October.
It's crazy, this board has been so caught up in the Liam hype that we're a month or so away from new Noel material and I didn't even realize it until now...

I remember people freaking out when before NGHFB1 came out he said there were no guitar solos until track six and they thought Record Machine had had the solo cut... I'm sure he's just got the date wrong and it's actually the 10th. |

Difference between this and the AA album, is the AA album never completed the mastering stage. The mastering stage is kind of the point of no return. When you're completed with that then you have a complete album. It's incredibly rare for an album to be held back after mastering. |

Well I meant the entire album schedule should be moved up but it is what it is for whatever reasons. And it was comical for Noel to appear on that show, awkwardly sit there as they played his new single to him and announce his brand new album out in 5 months. Weird. |
