Well, not yet. I'm sure we will find out some song titles within a few months. I think it's rather exciting that we don't know anything yet! Of course, but my point was that, for the previous two albums, we had already heard some of the music long in advance. For NGHFB, we had the Oasis demos of Record Machine and Stop the Clocks, plus the soundcheck versions of IIHAG and EOTR and A Simple Game of Genius. Lock All The Doors had been there for years before Chasing Yesterday, and we had heard The Dying of the Light, Freaky Teeth and bits from Do The Damage and The Mexican (even though we couldn't realise). We had heard about the AA stuff and knew of the existence of "Mighty I". Assuming that Noel kept his rule of not bringing material to the studio, the canvas is fully blank for the first time. We have no idea what we're going to get. Wich bits and pieces did we know of Do the Damage and The Mexican beforehand?

I wonder if we will hear new versions of She Must Be One of Us, Oh Lord, God Help Us All, Come on It's Alright, Just Let It Come Down over Me or Bye Bye My Family (Don't Stop the Happenin') I wouldn't mind the last two and God Help Us All as b-sides for the new record or as part of a future acoustic album, but I'd be happy to never hear the first two songs on the list again. She Must Be One Of Us is a bad Dylan parody and Oh Toad is just awful. Come On Outside should be kept for an Oasis rarities compilation, it's not that amazing. If She Must Be One Of Us is officially released, I'll burn all my Oasis CDs and make a dartboard with Noel's face on it! Awful awful Dylan parody - imagine if Dylan had a lobotomy and lost all literacy skills, this would be the result. Probably his worst song ever, and that's going some when taking his drab early 2000 writing into account. Oh Lord isn't any better.

Thanks, The Mexican bits sound amazing, makes one angry again that it got scrapped in that version... Anyway, off-topic. Somehow I don't buy the November 9 day yet, would have expected a proper announcement (old-fashioned) and not in a radio show just dropping it.

Crazy we're going to get both Liam's debut album and Noel's third only one month apart from each other. Interesting times for the forum are ahead, for better or worse. Can't believe we don't have any solid information on the tracklist or soundscape of the album. Since he just said it's ready to go, expect a summer single release as carlober said, and a 2nd single by September. I know the question on everyone's minds is which record will eclipse the other in sales and get more limelight - Liam or Noel's?

Liam's record will probably sound more Oasis-like, while I have the hunch Noel is gonna do a Weller on us.

He claimed this was a new track, but if you listen to the demo of She Must Be One Of Us, the harmonica track from 'TGG' is clearly used on that demo. So I think She Must Be One Of Us will be on it - or perhaps a version on it.

"I've nicked a little bit of that," he admits. "The 'woo-hoo!' You'll hear that sooner or later in one of my tracks."" And this is from an NME interview from 2016, so who knows.

I cannot believe that a producer of David Holmes calibre would ever want to work with such crap like She Must Be One Of Us.
Besides, the precise reason he didn't want to produce Chasing Yesterday was because he refused to work on completed songs (as Noel played him the album in demo form).

As of now there's not any evidence that it might be on the album (and boy, do I hope it isn't..or on any future albums). Noel has only said he nicked the "whoohoo" bit from Jean Genie (see my last post on the last page). And tbh, he uses things in the vein of "whoohoo" quite a bit actually.

She Must One of Us is clearly one of his worst songs, ever (maybe even his worst). 0 melody to it.

Would be interesting to hear a version of it!

The 'woo hoo' on SMBOOU is definitely lifted from Jean Genie though.
We'll see.
I actually quite like SMBOOU
