I'd almost love Noel to make a DNB album, just to see the reaction from the people who think he's turned into Avicci because the new music sounds modern. I mean, comments on Youtube like "he should stick to writing songs" "he should go back to using real instruments"...ugh.

How about a good old Winamp ? Let's talk about it on IRC or ICQ Did the album leak on alt.oasis yet ? good times of the early days of the internet, it was exciting. Kazaa!?! I remember downloading an incredibly shit quality version of Heathen Chemistry before it came out from Kazaa. Really regretted it. Should've just waited to hear the good quality CD when it was released. But it was such a novel thing at the time - "you mean, I can just click here and then hear the album!? WTF!" LOL Kazaa was the shit, wasn't it. filled with viruses but at the same time a lot of content to get instantly. It was like a treasure hunt. I remember when HC leaked with first SCYHO and Songbird + little by little and Better Man demos. Madness that was.

Maybe I shouldn't be saying this on a public forum LOL It was useful as well because I lent my copy of the DYKWIM single to my mate and the fucker never gave it back so I had to get Stay Young, Angel Child (Demo) and Heroes from Kazaa otherwise my collection would've been incomplete. It was a really nice CD sleeve as well! Shit, I'm actually getting quite sad thinking about it

Still jazzed for this... on the other end of the spectrum, I still loath the radio edit of Champagne Supernova. Yes... I do keep going on about it. It's that bad. I'm soooo glad I'm not the only one who thinks the radio edit of CS is really, really bad. And hah, I still use IRC. Someone recently did a web version of Winamp too. And to get it back on topic, I really hope there's a single on Friday.

Good times.

I'm not feeling too good about some of the titles in that tracklist. "Keep On Reaching". "It's A Beautiful World". "Be Careful What You Wish For"... Sounds like something from an upcoming Coldplay album.

On the topic of music players - foobar2000. Does everything you could possibly ask for. Tons of codec playback, convert file types, dynamic range measuring (separate plugin), replay gain, advanced tagging and file naming, CD rip and burn - I mean everything. A+ program.

hmmm i dont think Go Let It Out was available until january 2000. Back then the video and the track on the radio were released at the same time, there was no gap like today. The video was the release. There was definitely Fuckin in the Bushes floating around, and an acoustic version of Who Feels Love. But GLIO came after the new year. Could be wrong too, as you said, long time ago And I think the whole album leaked early february? late January? I do remember having it on Winamp, awful quality and debating whether to hear it or not.... I did by the way. The demos also leaked a little bit later right? Along with Carry Us All - Revolution Song - It's A Crime? I think they were available also before the album came out or very shortly after? I feel so old now lol

Does anyone know what the difference between the deluxe edition and the normal CD is? The tracklists appear the same on Amazon on HMV.

It appears on the normal version as well.

LOL Same with Oasis material, never understood it!

Be Careful What You Wish For sounds way more as a Queens of the Stone Age song than a Coldplay one.

LOL Same with Oasis material, never understood it! Because if they didnt then people would just import them(import albums is cheaper in Japan than to buy the albums made in there by the labels) so they offer the bonus tracks as incentive to buy.

I'm very eager to know how much of the ambient sounds, effects and samples in the preview are actually on the album.
I mean, is this like hearing a clip of Shoot A Hole In The Sun and what we'll actually get is If I Had A Gun?
With the quality of the clips in mind, it could very well be masked versions.

Here's hoping extra track is finally Come On Outside on the deluxe.
And I say this because as others have noted, the deluxe seems identical to the standard and vinyl. So there must be something different about it.
