there are actually four different endings...the theatrical release had SCYHO. two others were pretty similar, but the directors cut is very different and much better in my opinion. The one that has been shown on tv here, os the one that has SCYHO. yeah, thats the regular one. none of the others have SCYHO...

got 2 standing tickets for Hydro, quite good to see the disclaimer that you'll need Photo ID To access the gig with your tickets and that must match the lead booker. Might discourage 1. people buying to sell on at inflated prices 2. People from buying from people selling at inflated prices therefor removing the temptation! Really easy to get them this morning looking forward to hearing some of the music now

Yeah I remember that Who Feels Love? version. Lots of people started saying that the album was going to be full on 60's psychedelic music. I'm pretty sure though Go Let It Out was given its debut on Boxing Day 1999? Did I dream that? Man, so long ago... I definitely don’t remember Go Let It Out coming out in 1999. I have a good SOTSOG memory. It was 2000 my first year at uni and Gas Panic was being made available to stream from a website before the release of the album. In those days there was no wifi or smart phones so the internet was either in the library on campus or some rich kid paid for it and had a wired connection in their room. So I went to my mate's room who had internet and asked if I could use his laptop to stream it. I remember sitting there listening through his shitty little laptop speakers but being blown away by the sheer magnificence that is Gas Panic. Can't remember the website or anything else about it, just remember reading in a magazine (remember those?) that you could stream it from this link. A different time. At the time it was Oasis moving forward in a new direction and I loved it! Exactly how I'm feeling now after hearing "you gotta get yourself together, you gotta get yourself together..."

hmmm i dont think Go Let It Out was available until january 2000. Back then the video and the track on the radio were released at the same time, there was no gap like today. The video was the release. There was definitely Fuckin in the Bushes floating around, and an acoustic version of Who Feels Love. But GLIO came after the new year. Could be wrong too, as you said, long time ago

For the first time in 17 years of being an Oasis/Liam/Noel fan and seeing them numerous times, I've decided not to bother seeing Noel this time around - times are a changing.

Yes most of that is correct, there was a website for the SOTSOG album, (or a retheamed oasisinet) BUT it didn't air the full Gas Panic track, it just looped the beginning 2- 4 bars of the track on repeat from what I remember..

After 2 days listening the clips on loop... I've changed my opinion from Beautiful World (I though it was just "meh").
BTW, Fort Knox is still my favourite.

My mate had to tell me to get the fuck out of his room! LOL

I recently read that, very intersting story about the player and how it fell from grace: arstechnica.co.uk/information-technology/2017/07/winamp-how-greatest-mp3-player-undid-itself/These days i use itunes player or VLC for FLAC files. I know itunes is hated but it fills my need.

Had a casual look at tickets just (as I mentioned in an earlier post, I don't think I'm gonna bother seeing Noel this time round after 17 years of seeing him/Liam/Oasis regularly) and it definitely confirms I'm out - nearly £100 per ticket for the top price ones in London. Absolute cheapest seats in the gods are still £40. Too much if you ask me.

I wouldn't be arsed this time if it wasn't for his new album sounding like it's going to be so different.

Off topic a bit, but try giving Clementine a go. It's a really good music program.

I remember downloading an incredibly shit quality version of Heathen Chemistry before it came out from Kazaa. Really regretted it. Should've just waited to hear the good quality CD when it was released. But it was such a novel thing at the time - "you mean, I can just click here and then hear the album!? WTF!" LOL

Uhh, I get that people would like Noel to make music that's more in the vein of Oasis, but I also think it's kind of ridiculous to draw conclusions from a 20 seconds long snippet and say you'll hate it. I can understand that. Let's be honest, at the end of the day, it's all about the whetever we like that style of music or not. I hate heavy metal. Maybe there are brilliant melodies in heavy metal songs, riffs, structures, hooks...But I just can't stand that style and I hate every song from the first second. Maybe there are people who are ready to give every song a chance, but I think that 99.9% of us are thinking like I do. So, if someone hates it, he hates it, I get that. And don't get me wrong, I like those previews.

Still jazzed for this...
on the other end of the spectrum, I still loath the radio edit of Champagne Supernova. Yes... I do keep going on about it. It's that bad.
