Why should he scrap his next NORMAL studio album and what lies did he tell about it exactly? I don't know about lying about the AA album, but he used to lie/talk bullsh*t in interviews. Even Alan McGee, Andy, Tony, Johnny Marr and Paul Weller said it No,when did he lie about his NEXT STUDIO ALBUM?

Can we please continue discussing the remixes instead of other (highly irrelevant) crap?
Thank you.

The Weatherall and Psychemagik remixes are almost Hotline Miami-esque in instrumentation which is something I'm certainly approving of.

Finally got my vinyl in the mail. Very nice packaging. Love the CD that came with it. Great bonus. I still don't think we need the instrumental versions. Mostly filler for me. Would have been fantastic for the entire album to be remixed.

For me this release really boils down to a 5 track EP. Sure I wish more material was explored via these awesome remixes but that's life.
1. Riverman (Wizard's Sleeve) 2. In The Heat of The Moment (Toydrum) 3. The Girl With The X-Ray Eyes (David Holmes) 4. The Right Stuff (Psychemagik) 5. Ballad of The Mighty I (Wizard's Sleeve)
No repeats for me despite some fun/interesting Right Stuff remixes. I wish Freaky Teeth had a remix. Lot of sonic territory to explore on a tune like that.
I wonder what happened to that rumored Jamie xx collaboration? That would have been fucking amazing but this forum probably invented that myth.

Interesting EP... just a few thoughts.
Track 1: Ballad of the Mighty I beyond the wizard sleeve remix:
Pretty cool, love it when the drums and bass kick in... 01.25.... and 02.37.. fails a bit around the around the 03:50-04:08 mark.... can see what they are trying to do, but sounds a bit messy... even a little out of tune to the strings???
7/0
Track 2: In The Heat of the Moment Andrew Weatherall remix:
Funky, maybe a little boring... nice enough though.
7/10
Track 3: Riverman beyond the wizard sleeve remix:
Amazing! Great to have a different take on the track than the album version... really enjoyable.
9/10
Track 4: Right Stuff Psychemagik remix:
Nice "background" music... nothing amazing... maybe a little to repetitive?
7/10
Track 5: The Right Stuff 3D remix:
Really really cool! the keys sound a bit radiohead kid a era ish
9/10
Track 6: Girl with the x ray eyes david holmes remix
The kids are cool, really interesting take, but the kids struggle to keep in tune... especially when there is that abnormal chord change....
8/10
Track 7: in the heat of the moment remix.
Had this one for ages... so not much to say... decent!
7/10

I've listened to the remixes more than I have to the album versions, especially the Riverman and Mighty I mixes.
