Happy birthday to their 3th album! Do you think Noel and/or Liam will celebrate this day?

Happy birthday to their 3th album! Do you think Noel and/or Liam will celebrate this day? Doubt it, but their former label could have got it's arse in gear with them and had the remaster out for now (can of worms, etc. I know)

Is it their third best album or what?
I was asking myself this today.

Is it their third best album or what? I was asking myself this today. I would say so yeah, maybe because I remember the time period but for me those first three LPs represent a distinct body of work by the first incarnation of Oasis (hon. shouts to Messrs McCarroll and MacLeod). It was a great time to be a teenager into clothes, music and nightlife, even if I didn't know it, although that may also be rose tinting my view of it all. I don't personally view The Masterplan as an LP, even though technically it is, as I had brought all those songs already on singles, so yeah top three album rating for BHN.

Is it their third best album or what? I was asking myself this today. Sort of. It needed Stay Young on there, instead of Magic Pie, to make it their third best. As it turned out to be with the official release, I'd rank it a very close fourth, right behind Don't Believe the Truth.

My favourite period of oasis, my favourite album experience. Clearly DM is better... But BHN holds the crown for best concept

I love a lot of that LP but aside from prop up the Columbian economy, get kicked out of Abbey Road and generally go mental I must have missed the concept. That said if it doesn't have a concept like Camel's 70s prog stuff then by default it must be a good record!

Happy birthday be here now. It was never going to live up to hype surrounding it and ridiculous reviews (q magazine 5 stars) before it was released, but equally it's not as bad an album as Noel, the press etc would have u believe. (Must say I'm not a fan of the phone box and all the props for the stage set, that was ridiculous, a "bad advert for drugs" as someone once said!) It is what it is, a snapshot into the world of oasis at the time. A celebration, positivity, the best party u ever went to.
Thank you oasis
...now get that reissue sorted out asap!

For me I felt it was more of a journey (albeit mainly a crazy one). And it makes me smile more than the other albums

I may still be very young, but I feel old whenever there's an anniversary like this one.

That was a great day, that 21 august 1997. To blast such an excellent record on such crappy speakers back then, yet finding it mindblowing. Good times. the 90s were top, werent they

1997. Coolest year, the band ever had!!! Their style, the music, everyting! I was sooooo fucking much "in this band" in this time. I was 14 and I wanted to be like Liam.

It was so exciting to go to HMV (my local one for me) and BHN was playing, the front of the store was only BHN and people just fucking happy If people don't like BHN it's coz their ears can't handle it!!
