I can't believe Be Here Now is almost 20 years old. I had just turned 16 when it came out. I feel..........old. What did the 16 year old Lennon think of it at the time?

What did the 16 year old Lennon think of it at the time? Best album ever man! Haha. Sounds like a hell of a time to be a sixteen year old. All I got in my sixteenth year was the first two post-Oasis albums, and they were no better than the dross we'd got in the noughties imo. I'm not one of these younger folks you see on YouTube going "man, my generation sucks. I wish I was born in the sixties!" because what would be the point in that? I'd be in my fifties now, and probably too set in my ways to fully enjoy the benefits of the array of technology we have available to us these days. But if I COULD time travel for a few hours or so, I'd see Bowie play his last gig as Ziggy Stardust in 73, and I'd be there when Be Here Now came out...

I was only 8, and had literally zero opinion of Oasis. But it's been nice reading everyone's stories of the time.

Soon napster and album leaks killed release day euphoria. It's pretty rare to see a band you liked when you were 12-13 slowly build themselves into the biggest band in the world come August 1997. It didn't last long but didn't we have a nice time? Wasn't it such a nice time? Wasn't it such a fine time?

Where is that damn Be Here Now reissue? For fucks sake, that is the only one we fans really wanted when the project was announced back in 2013. Forget DM and MG. I just wanted BHN!

I really want to know what songs will be on the 3th disc. I want to know what the Japanese bonus tracks are too. Shakemaker (Slide Up mix), Bring It on Down (Mono Valley), Hello (Demo) and Wonderwall (Knebworth) do we have so far.

If Owen Morris sees this, he might just cream himself.

Ah, you're another one of those members of whom I thought they'd be in their 30s but are actually 20 or younger.

Not BHN related, but this is the FLAC file for Some Might Say Remastered. It's as if they didn't want to try and bring out dynamics? Did they just take the original mix and declip it only? Hope this isn't done with BHN. Give us the multitracks (please!!!)
