Quick review, the crowd went mental for Hymn For The Weekend (WTF?!) , old stuff was great especially Clocks and See You Soon on the little stage in front of me.Most of the new stuff was awful, like being at a Take That concert a lot of it bombed, just dreadful. Up & Up was immense live, production has destroyed it. Overall 6/10 just too poppy for me. Best part of the night was watching a full blown fight kicking off on the pitch, two 40 year old guys, hilarious!

I've shit on the last few Coldplay albums but they still kick major ass live. I've never left one of their shows disappointed and I've attended 7 gigs.

Yeah, the poppy, chart dance crap just made me want to weep. Clocks as I said was absolutely brilliant. They've got a really strange act going on these days, part Bieber, part credible guitar act. |
