We're still in the title race, lads. A win next weekend against Leicester will give us the momentum. Hell, even a draw wouldn't be the end of the world, in all honesty. Still very much in it, as far as I'm concerned.

Tomorrow is massive: A win sees us right back in the hunt, whereas a loss will see our title dreams shattered. (That being said, watch us draw now). A lot is riding on tomorrow's result, I hope we show up.

When has Wenger's job been in most danger:
1. FA Cup 2014: Wigan 1-0 Arsenal, with 10 mins to go 2. FA Cup 2014: Hull 2-0 Arsenal, within first 10 mins 3. League 2016: Right Now - Blowing the title
He's truly on the cusp now, and I thought he got passed such brinkmanship after surviving those two FA Cup scares in 2014.
But is he really in the most danger he's ever been in right now?

Didn't see the match (Hull 0-4 Arsenal), but we progress to the FA Cup Quarter Final vs. Watford this Sunday. This *should* be an easy way to the Semi-Final.....Third consecutive FA Cup? Dare to dream!!

As an American I can say with absolute certainty that soccer is stupid. Who plays a game with just their feet? It's like foot-fetish porn. Only an idiot would want to see a cock splooge on a girl's feet. There's much more interesting places to spew one's gunk.
My sincerest apologies to the female moderators on this site.

But again, a serious question no Arsenal fan seems to comprehend - who replaces him?

What the fuck was that shit? What the hell was Gabriel doing for the first goal, and Mertesacker for the second? Abject performance all around. #WENGEROUT
We have serious problems at the back: Chambers (as much as I want to like him) isn't good enough. Gabriel, despite having a solid start with us, is on a run of real poor form. Metersacker hasn't got a clue. And Gibbs has never been good - AW won't do it, but he needs to buy a proper LB.
THERE ARE NO FUCKING LEADERS AT THE GOD AWFUL CLUB.

We've had some shit seasons, but if we don't turn it around in the league (and I see no proof that we will), this has to go down as AW's worst ever season. Absolutely pathetic how we capitulated since Boxing Day.

I'm finishing John Cross' new book on Arsene Wenger at the moment. There's really little substance to the book, but the one thing that I agree with - and what my argument has been for years - is that Arsenal's decline is correlated and causal to the departure of David Dein in 2007. Kronke, Gazidis, and the boardroom are the real problems which trickle down to Arsene Wenger and the players. matt

But yeah, I agree - with football clubs I've always believed the rot starts from the top. That's not to say the managers don't make mistakes but it's the way the owners run the club that is the most damaging. We see it at Man Utd too - I don't think LVG is a bad manager but Ed Woodward is a complete fool who has wasted mass sums of money of average players. A shame for LVG because I really respect him and he's done wonders with the youth academy there and doesn't deserve the stick he gets, while Woodward gets a free pass. Likewise with Liverpool, I didn't think Rodgers was poor either - for a start it was the owners and the 'transfer committee' that wanted Balotelli which was a disaster, alongside a few other players. Arsenal's problem of late is just mere profit and that's all they're interested in - but once club owners begin to focus on that instead of winning, then it's no surprise there's going to be fan discontent and poor performances. The worrying thing with Wenger is that much needed prudence after the stadium was built is good management. But now overrating poor players and still being prudent ten years after the Emirates opened is stubborn.

Barça boardroom is horrible. The actual president and the previous one are facing criminal charges in Spain and Brazil for Neymar signing. They've been horrible for years.
And look where the team is.

Anyone who thinks Wenger won't at least see out his contract is having a laugh. With this year's failure, he'll want his last roll of the dice to try to win the league next season - and, based on that outcome may or may not sign yet another new contract.
My point: He has (at least) one more chance to do it, and he won't shirk from that responsibility.
---
And he'll have a major overhaul this summer, too:
I had so much hope for this squad's current incarnation, but this summer should be a massive overhaul.
Definitely Gone: Rosicky, Flamni, Debuchy, Arteta
Most Likely Gone: Mertesacker, Gibbs
Maybe Gone: Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain

I hope Arsenal score 5 goals after the 75th minute today. Support the club, ffs. #AKB In times of turmoil, you don't turn your back but rather offer your support. Negative attitudes will only negatively affect the players - the protests and vitriol are all counterproductive. matt

To keep the trend that has developed over the last 9 years, here's the official Arsenal thread. So I just realized that it's the Community Shield between Arsenal and Chelsea next Sunday (Aug 2nd). The curtain raiser to the 2015/16 Premier League Season. Very optimistic for the nine months ahead. Come on you Gooners!! #WengerIn #COYG Can do with a striker and/or DM. I reckon DM is needed much more, but a striker would make our offense fucking unstoppable. Arsenal have one hell of a squad now, just one or two more purchases and we will be right up there at the end. Every. Season.
