Fuck that, as long as we win the Prem I couldn't give a toss. We were never going to win the CL anyway, innit.

I hate English teams attitude to the Europa League. It's actually a very good competition. Arsenal burnt their bridges for the Champions League in the first two games, if they are serious about their coefficient they would want to do well in Europe, whatever the competition is. Because they are not going to win the Premier League - it's got Man City's name all over that.

Arsenal 1-1 Tottenham
Just watched the match on tape delay. Draw was a fair result. We looked well knackered, though. Our right hand side is woeful due to injuries. And we have literally no one on the bench. Still, Citeh had an unexpected draw, so we lose no ground. I'll take that. On to the next.

West Brom 2-1 ArsenalWe were abysmal. Very poor. Probably deserved a point, but still terrible regardless. But.... Put this loss in perspective: We didn't really lose ground. (Leicester obviously won't last). # And our run of fixtures are rather kind through the Christmas and Festive period: Norwich (A), Sunderland (H), Aston Villa (A), Man City (H), Southampton (A), Bournemouth (H), Newcastle (H) 16 points MINIMUM from 21, wouldn't be bad.matt

Dropping silly points to lower teams when they should have beaten them comfortably. But the injury crisis is so severe - I'm just wondering if Wenger literally makes them run through brick walls.

It's far too early to judge Klopp, but all I heard from Arsenal fans were laments how we didn't appoint him. Can the lessons of the last 2 PL Seasons be learned? Rodgers sacked. Mourinho sacked. van Gaal about to be sacked. Be careful what you bloody well wish for. I, personally, thank Arsene for our stability and consistency. Tomorrow's match vs. Citeh actually has the feel of real significance - something I haven't felt in over a decade when we were sparring with Man Utd. A loss wouldn't be devastating, but a win would be massive....Let's do this! Paging matt

Arsenal 2-1 Citeh
SO proud of the lads in red and white. Very professional display tonight. Years ago, we would have lost this, despite leading. We've come so far.

I would love to see Leicester win the league, but I think Arsenal or ManCity will win.

Remember when Arsenal supporters were clamouribg for wengers head ? The game had passed him by. Why fans can't run a team.

I think if Arsenal are going to win the league this season is the best chance they'll have. City are inconsistent, Chelsea & Liverpool are nowhere and United can't score.
That leaves them only needing to fend of Leicester, surely they can do that..

If they don't win it they will be calling for his head (again) saying how shite he is. It's definitely between Arsenal and Citeh this year. On paper, City have by far the better squad (as you would expect from recent title winners, and all that cash at their disposal). But there's something unconvincing about them this season. This has the feeling of the 1997/98 season to me where the title went down to the wire between Arsenal and Man Utd, where belief and team cohesion (Arsenal) ultimately trumped perhaps the better collection of players (Man Utd). I may be wrong with that analogy, and probably already am lol.... Wenger has tweaked his tactics in the last couple years - finally. They may finally have the right mentality to go the distance this year. But pipping City won't be an easy task.

I wonder what's the problem with Arsenal is it Arsene or the players? The moment they could get the PL is the moment they break down, atleast since the end of the invincibles.

No team loses 4-0 to Southampton and wins the league. Especially not that badly.

Diabolical performace and result. I think we're simply tired and our vast injury crisis means we can't even rotate at all! (Ref was absolute shit, too, but that's no excuse for us not turning up).
That being said, a win tomorrow will almost certainly put us top for the New Year - so I don't understand all the overreactions to the Soton match.

"I believe the big clubs have a responsibility to win - but to also win with style....I always like to think that the guy who wakes up in the morning after a hard week of work has that moment, that fraction of a second, when he opens his eyes and says: 'Oh, today I go to watch my team.'"
- Arsenal manager, Arsène Wenger.
Too right. See you in the morning, lads! Up the Arsenal!
