Manchester = not Beady Eye's home gig. Liam maybe Manchester. But Andy Bell = Oxford. Gem = Durham. Chris = Cheshire. Jay = Philadelphia. I know what you mean as Liam is the star but... In Order to find the true hometown gig, we need to find the centre ground of all those places. Because Jay joined that band, that gig must take place in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

I'd just like to say that album and concert sales don't constitute success to me, if it did then One Direction would be the best band in the world.
A band is only as good as it's songs, and Beady Eye really didn't have good enough songs which is why they failed.

They didn't fail to me at all. They were a great live band who put out some really good tunes. What else matters really?

It does mean success, and One Direction is a very successful group (they are NOT a band). It just doesn't have to mean they are GOOD and that their songs are of great quality. Agree with the rest you said though.
