The Girl With X-Ray Eyes does little for me, mostly because of the subpar lyrics.
The Dying of the Light demo tops the album version.
Do The Damage still kicks ass.
Riverman and The Right Stuff blew my hair back, no doubt.
It took several weeks after release, but I eventually realized CY is a superior album to NGHFB.

YKWCGB has also grown on me quite a bit, hence why it moved up, and despite TGWXE and TDOTL being at the bottom, I still enjoy both of them a lot. Strong album. Seriously strong. |

No, no, I've said pretty much from the start that I thought it was the best Gallagher record since Be Here Now, and I stand by that. I guess the tunes themselves have all been nudged up a rating or so (barring Lock All The Doors, which I'm sticking to my guns about - it's shit!) because I only allocate 10s to genuine classics, and a month after the record came out was too soon to know whether any of them were classics or not. However, eight months after the record came out, I can safely say WTSRTS and Dying of The Light most definitely ARE classics.  |

i can't believe how many people are ranking 'the mexican' so highly after all this time. for me, it's the nature of reality, the pymwymi, the standing on the edge of the noise of the album. an absolute dog. the stain on an otherwise perfect record, i cringe every time it comes on and i can't hit the skip button fast enough.
