Pacience and Borderline is a continuation of the sounds of Currents, but I dont see the risktaking in releasing them, when you heard Apocalypse Dreams or Let It Happen you knew it was gold. This new version of Tame doesnt grabs your attention like that, and its ok. But I hope there's something else in the album or else Ill be bored with it. Or make a playlist lile The Escapist with the best of Currents and the new one. Also the release daates of the first two singles almost marches the ones of the first two singles of Currents, so one more single this month(Disciples) followed by another in May(Eventually) and the album in July? |

Is it just me or Tame Impala became completely irrelevant band? I loved them so much and I still don't think they are making bad music nowadays but for example, I have no idea about their new album, is it out, if not, when it will be... I guess that is how many Oasis fans felt in early 2000s.

So I guess this album would be Kevin's own Mylo Xylofone(I cant remember how its spelled😂) |

Kevin needs more time, but has lined up some gigs in between and now the studio time needed to work on the album is less than optimal v Interesting read about how Lonerism, Currents and LP 4 has been worked so far. I guess that is how many Oasis fans felt in early 2000s. I can see why some were turned off by Current's as it's definitely more poppy then the two albums that followed it. It's worrying when I see him teaming up with Mark Ronson and that sort, but it seems to have upped their fanbase so it's working for Parker and co. They lost the cool edge to them that Lonerism bought. But I really liked Current's as a album but I like to see them moving back into the first albums sound. |

Man oh man am I glad I did buy tickets to see them at MSG this week. I just knew this album wouldn’t be out in time. They’ve been playing that same setlist for almost 4 years now. I had a great time seeing them at radio city in 2015 but come on kevin. It’s been forever bro. Oh the dangers of booking a tour while not yet finished with your album.
