What a night! Has it even finished yet? I had a breakdown and had to go and lie down for a bit when I saw the word "Masterplan" It's done. I was trying to do work at the same time as I was reading this thread, and I pretty much gave up work. My attention and energy is completely sapped by this point!

FFS are you really complaining about this setlist? Yeah, if his solo career is so fucking successful, then why he is insisting playing so many Oasis songs? He has plentiful of songs to play with two solo albums. Grow some balls Noel... Maybe he's more insecure about his new songs than he's makes out in interviews.

Tbh he has said in various interviews that about a third of it would be Oasis songs. I thought it was a fantastic setlist. Way better than the fake one. I did miss Broken Arrow (my favourite on HFB) and WTSRTS though, but hey, you can't always get what you want. I miss DYKWIM and I hope the guy who made that fake setlist is on here and is able to read that he's a fucking loser.

Yeah okay I was a bit disappointed DYKWIM hasn't been played as well, but tbh I had my doubts For once I hope he isn't going to switch things around. This is amazing.

He wrote them so he can do whatever he likes with them 2. Can you imagine going to see Noel Gallagher and not hearing anything he wrote during his Oasis years?! It's like going to see Status Quo and not hearing Down Down or AC/DC and not hearing Thunderstruck or U2 and not hearing One or The Eagles not playing Hotel California....It's the same for any successful artists. There are certain songs, from certain eras that need to be played live

Plus added a choir to it? And not make CS a acoustic, choir driven ballad? He's not playing abunch of Oasis songs, he's evolving them into a more modern setting and making them more of his own than they already were.

I still don't see how 6 Oasis songs is too many. Like it or not, a lot of people going to Noel's concert will still see him as the guy from Oasis, and they rightly like a lot of those Oasis songs. So Noel would do well to throw in some Oasis songs alongside the new material. I thought this time he actually got the right mix and balance.

I wasn't really expecting him to play The Right Stuff, but he should include Do The Damage at some point.
Other than that, the setlist is as good as it gets.
It was a pleasure sharing this moment with you lot, again. Time to go to bed now.

There are certain songs, from certain eras that need to be played live I am not saying that he shouldn't play any Oasis songs. Just 2-3 are more than enough. If he really wants to establish himself as a solo artist, he should reconsider this. Critics and people outside the Oasis crowd will not take him seriously if he keeps relying so much on the past. Maybe he really thinks that's his only crowd and he can't draw any new fans.

Swap The Mexican with Do The Damage/The Right Stuff and it would've been even better.
Good night!

This was fun. Been a while since I've been on a forum, talking about a first gig after we had heard the latest album. Always a good experience.
And now it's waiting for the videos.

The Setlist was very very very good (a bit unbalanced in my opinion, too slow in the second half). I can see he HAS to play some Oasis songs (fit the causal listeners) but.... DD? C'mon. Really miss While the Song Remains the Same
