He absolutely ruined it. Same problem with Dying Of The Light; he's squeezing all the emotion out of it. What's the rush? And as for removing the epic solo what a fucking shame.... That's always been his problem since BHN : overproducing tracks that dont deserve it. The guy is talented enough to just press play, record an acoustic, an electric guitar and the rest, done. It's great. Dont know why he does that. |

Its a b-side that's better than most A-sides Oasis released in the latter years and most definitely better than just about anything Beady Eye have done. Really like this song. Another solid bonus track. are you fucking serious? |

OK, great tune, at level of Do The Damage, if not better.
So considering Freaky Teeth a great song (live version), we have 3 excellent B-Sides...
Only one b-side more in the way.

It's just..........okay.
Can't really think of a song I'd replace. If this had made the album and ITHOTM hadn't I would have been disappointed. This song's time has passed. I'll take Noel attempting to take chances with new material over this any day.

Anyway, like this song a lot, so far Damage & Revolution are same sort of quality as bonus tracks of NHFB1. Great work. |

It sounds extremely disjointed and cluttered. For me, all of the parts don't fit together well. This may be the one production wise, that's a clunker.

Thanks! Did anybody notice that it begins like the outro of Go Let It Out? There really should be a female singer in the touring band when so many songs have female backing vocals. I thought I was listening to a slowed down GLIO for a moment there! |

Nah, this one is better. The right speed at least... after listening to this new one, the old demo sounds awkward. I guess it could have had a solo, who knows... but hey... it's the old noel, sincerely I can't expect something, you know, kinda explosive, something glorious in his songs right now. The crazy days are far away.

I would have preferred a fresh new track. The song itself is so familiar to us for such a long time and if I'm being honest, I never really liked it that much, even for a B-Side. The verses are good, but the chorus seems kind of cheesy and outdated (like it does not belong in this period of Noel's writing, which obviously is true). It's definitely listenable and not a bad song, but the best part of the rerecording is that it is a bit faster now. Still, not that necessary. Give us new songs, Noel! |
