"It's too old" *proceeds to put a song that's 6 years older on the album* "but it's only the chorus"

Hmm...I seem to be the only one who vastly prefers the old demo version of this. I have the same problem with this track as I do the album version of Stop the Clocks...it's way too happy sounding. I actually preferred the melancholy of the demo.

(imo)demo of RS is much better (again!!!)
Noel should start thinkin' about workin' with some producers/people that could catch the haunting feeling and raw emotion and sounds of his demos... "stop the clocks" (thats was really a crime not to keep the demo style), "record machine" and now "Revolution Song" actually turned to ...something else, not so good, losing the magic element that these tunes had as demos

The recorded version is in the style of the album, light, fresh and airy and to the point.

I was thinking the same thing that Noel should work with some producers early to retain that haunting sound of his demos. Listening to the soundcheck of IIHAG and comparing it to the finished plodding version is so different and loses a lot of the emotion
Was also thinking how great it would be if Noel got back together with Owen Morris to try and recapture some of the original Oasis sound. I know Noel wants to go his own way but just once, let Owen do his thing!

Revolution Song should have been on the album. Don't care if it's old.
Such a fucking masterpiece.
Classic Noel, though, to release it as a b-side.
