I do agree massively that numbering songs out of ten doesn't work at all. You can't grade music like that.

Ok - after the first 6/7 listens yesterday, apart from Riverman and a couple of others, I thought he'd f*cked it. Really dissapointed. Then I slept on it and listened again at 4 this morning and it sounded much, much better so here's my scores:
Riverman 11/10 In The Heat 7 X-ray Eyes 7 Lock The F*cking Doors 9 Dying Light 8 Right Stuff 9 Songs The Same 9 Mexican 7 Cant Go Back 7 Mighty I 9
Overall I absofuckinlutely love the sax and the solos and the grooves of Riverman and The Right Stuff. Quite atmospheric in places. Very good LP.
I can imagine the needle being brought down on the vinyl version then Riverman starts...wow...
Solid 8/10

Rifles, where have you been? No love for Song Remains the Same? But other than that gripe, I agree: Fucking fantastic album. Noel's zenith indeed. Masterpiece. I've been busy with a lot of other stuff. While the Song Remains the Same just does not grab me whatsoever. Everything else is very enjoyable to listen to. Heard you're in some kind of maximum security fat camp. Sounds fun.

Best song: You know we can't go back Worst: Riverman
I was hoping that Lock All The Doors would be mega, but the old demo version is better. And That's NOT because of Liams voice. Pretty boring ablum tbh.
Oasis should reform.

What can i say. I knew right ahead that's it's gonna be a special record when i heard TBOMI. It's fresh, ambient, the production is amazing. Riverman reminded me what a great song does. I couldn't focus properly on the album as a whole cause i had to take care of my girlfriend while weekend (hard work), but now i'm listening to it as it is. Fantastic, really. While The Song Remains The Same is a diamond for me. Lock All The Doors, what a crazy idea, what a great result, how fresh it sounds for a chorus written in fuckin' 1992 ! You Know We Can't Go Back grew on me ( it will probably grow on you too, if you thought a bit meh the first listen, cheerful tune), actually it becomes one of my favourites very quickly now. I enjoy every track on it really. Mexican would be the weakest at the moment if i had to rate, but still a cool song. Very atmospheric, adventurous and mature LP. The best thing about it is that Noel is not afraid of anything musically. Freedom, that's what it sounds like.

id play it more but i was busy playing the first nghfb's and the two beady eye albums...i was trying to work out a playlist where i could imagine oasis were still active and hadn't released an album since the last oasis album was released whenever that was, it was quite a project but with some clever tweeks i got a pretty good imaginary oasis album out of it.
