We know how much Noel likes a reissue... Maybe it'll be a bonus double disc with the 10 year anniversary issue of NGHFB. This will become the Mustique demos of Noel's solo career won't it? We've heard a snippet of it and await the full release somewhere down the line...

Very interesting that the AA were remixing CY. You'd think they would have learned a lesson from the first/second album debacle!
As Noel seems to be keen to getting other artists to do remixes this time hopefully that remix EP with Massive Attack etc does become reality.
Also, I seriously doubt Gaz reads this site. He's probably referencing Oasis fan comments on his own FB posts...

Did we ever hear what the title of this AA/Noel album was going to be?

Did we ever hear what the title of this AA/Noel album was going to be? No. In the Guardian interview Gaz said Amorphous Androgynous would have had to be in the band's name though instead of the HFBs. Clearly something Noel wouldn't want for his debut solo album.

The Mexican sounds like something Beady Eye would come up with. I think some of you guys will be really disappointed if "The lost Album" ever surfaces.

The Mexican is probably my favourite track tbh

I love the QOTSA riff on The Mexican.
The "Kid on crack" lyric is the worst thing about it and that's definitely down to Noly Poly.

Very interesting that the AA were remixing CY. You'd think they would have learned a lesson from the first/second album debacle! .. Yeah weirdly interesting indeed. Those guys were probably trying everything to associate their name to Noel, any way they could. Clearly. Although that Right Stuff / Mexican situation isn't quite clear, the fact that Noel gave them CY to remix is a sign he wasn't too angry bout the whole situation and was willing to give it another go. That FB post is scary as hell : either Noel stole their tracks and you go to court or you dont. But whining on Facebook isn't gonna solve anything. And that phone interview as well, the guys thinks he's George Martin or what ? He just sounds like an ass stuck in his own ass tbh.

Did I miss that? Seems like an odd thing.

Noel's always pretty open about collaborations and gives credits where due.
Something happened for sure, probably money related. It's always down to the money.

It's true! He says "that track was bought for our consideration" in later comments when replying to people. He also says he's surprised Noel is still teasing people by using SAHITS as his intro music. He also claims to have worked 16 hour days on the album: "yes course its NOT black and white..I'm not interested in the pantomime villains shit. just been trying to put across what happened cos i think its interesting seeing as Noel's had the run of the media on it for several years ....typically his story plays into the pantomime cos hes savvy like that ( understatement )...my story is 2 years of 16 hour days of detail ....easy to be black and white when you haven't done that work !"

My conviction that Gaz doesn't read this forum has been shaken by the fact he may be quoting me here... "I see NME are now running with the story ... What's pretty bloody hilarious is I pretty much told the whole story months ago to them which they turned into the big headline ' AA hit back at Noel 'on the front cover but then the article itself was a totally insipid weak fart in Noels direction about 'revolution' and such . How weird they'd rather quote the guardian and cobble something from that than go with an exclusive bold piece of journalism in the first place ? What has happened to journalism - click bait clearly gone mad ! www.nme.com/news/noel-gallagher/85232"

Gaz if you're reading, why don't you speak to Mojo?
A far more serious magazine who are in tune to your music and more likely to give you the time and word count to tell your story...

Well tbh, using the NME to "share the truth" isn't exactly the smartest move. I mean, really? Really? You're going to use a magazine that's known for hiring retarded spotty teens that cobble together something from articles by other magazines while misquoting bits and twisting the truth? A magazine that posts Gallagher related news every 3 minutes and that's known for fabricating feuds?
Well what the fuck did you expect to happen Gaz?

He says SAHITS was his *third* version of If I Had A Gun, created directly as a result of Noel's "Pink Floyd" comment:
"always like your insight John.....think its simply about appreciating there IS an artistic process which means that some crossroads will be encountered. Virtually evry classic album has hundreds of crossroads and the ways in which they're resolved produces the brilliance. In the case of Noel when we reached crossroads and needed him (cos it was his album ) that's when the disappointment began . . . think he expected it to simply land on a plate....impossible when you consider the secretive decisions he was making...copying our track order on another album ( we didnt even know about )...failing to mention ours were remixes so we could be completely free ( we werent EVER free from his songs apart from seeing him claim the album was like DARK SIDE OF THE MOON ( in the Sun not at the press conference as stated in above article )this prompted me to spend another week being much more OUT THERE ,eventually creating 'SHOOT A HOLE 'when i already had two great versions of IF I HAD A GUN... simply impossible to get it right in this climate..waste of time....the crossroads it was left at... he loved it..said the arrangements , everything was amazing but it needed bigger mixes- we agreed since we'd spent way too much time writing new tracks ( the Right Stuff/ the Mexican/ Shoot a Hole plus a coupla others ) to be able to mix to the fullest....so it seemed a good plan....he went on tour with the other album and gradually realized he couldn't be arsed.....he'd come out of it with a successful album already...that was the goal..whoever is used/ abused in the process is irrelevent....his right... that's the mindset, Finally take the tracks we wrote and claim them as your own on the next album.... its a somewhat different approach to my own but common in many old school divas & stars ( according to my management who have handled many )"
