Looking forward to seeing this... Amorphous Androgynous don't do that much self-publicity (probably no more than 5 interviews last year), so this should be interesting. Could have something to do with Weller, but they're only vague rumours.

Now we're talking. This is gonna be interesting, hopefully there'll be some insight on the actual album (as in music) as well. The NME will definitely be going to put some fuel in the fire again, so we're going to get NG vs. AA headlines on their website on a hourly basis.

"Ye Ye Ye Ye Yay we'll have 15 minutes of glory because nobody gives a shit about us" And in that 15 minutes they will just repeat "the sun the sun the sun the sun ahhhhh ahhhhh".

Handbags... meet dawn. @isness what're the Weller rumours? Not that much, but Gaz posted on both his and the Amorphous Androgynous accounts in the past couple of days saying "the Amorphous Androgynous rockIN ' OUT with WELLER" // "AA RockIN ' OUT with Weller" It's not that clear whether they mean that they've collaborated with him or whether they just like his new preview clip from the posts, but apparently there will be more news from Weller tomorrow Paul Weller clip FB post www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=346219512235770&id=100005431728122&pnref=story EDIT : Never realised how slow a typer I was...

They could talk about Weller, but they'll definitely talk about NG, otherwise they wouldn't really "hit back" would they?

They could talk about Weller, but they'll definitely talk about NG, otherwise they wouldn't really "hit back" would they? If they are releasing an album with Weller (massive 'if', I know...) just a month after Noel saying that stuff about their work 'never seeing the light of day' and so on, then that probably would be a hit back.
Although I guess the headline there would be 'Paul Weller' rather than 'Noel Gallagher'... Idk... Just rumours anyway...

We'll see. I'm curious as for what they have to say.

Knowing the NME they will simply spit back all the social media comments the AA have made only this time in NME ink! Such a rag of a music magazine.

Cheers Jim asimarx & @isness. Cool! In the interviews he's done for Saturn's Pattern so far Weller has made no mention of collaborating with the AA although he has described the album as being quite different to his others. They've remixed him before - can see them having done that again...

Just noticed that Gaz added this to the last FB post : "Typically life colludes with surreal timings and it's gonna be a poignant day tomorrow - sayin goodbye to my daughter for a while and 3 years of pent up shit hits the newsstands ! RAW !"

I don't know why Noel couldn't have just said that the album didn't work out and moved on rather than slagging them off over it. I imagine there'll be stuff in this that'll make uncomfortable reading for him.

pent up, stitched up? can anyone translate? Stitched up: Gaz is well aware that NME journalists can distort an interview by only printing juicy quotes. When the NME ran with the "Noel couldn't be arsed to finish the album" headline, Gaz noted on facebook that his full quote was "... because I had glandular fever". So he's recorded the interview to make sure what he says isn't misrepresented... Probably because he knows Noel will have good lawyers! Pent up: I think he's just saying he's pissed at wasting years on an album that got cancelled and just resulted in Noel slagging him off a bit in the press.

I don't know why Noel couldn't have just said that the album didn't work out and moved on rather than slagging them off over it. That's right. I don't like AA music or the remixes they made for HFB but Noel is a respected musician and a word from him can ruin the reputation of a small band like AA.

I don't like AA music or the remixes they made for HFB but Noel is a respected musician and a word from him can ruin the reputation of a small band like AA. The AA aren't a small band, they have been producing music for over 25 years as The Future Sounds of London. They are producers as well as having various bands between them. They are as respected in their world as Noel is in his, he doesn't affect their music in anyway at all. Remember Noel approached them, he wanted to work with them and after three years he's slagged them off so rightly they should have their say.

I get the impression it's just gonna be he said, she said. Or I guess he said, he said.
In the end I imagine it will be Noel on one side saying he didn't think the album turned out good enough to put his name to. The AA will say it was more than good enough.
Without hearing the album...no one will ever know the truth. And even if we did it would end up coming down to personal taste. Which is probably what it came down to between Noel and the AA I guess.

hehe they gonna try sabotage Noel's release. I guess we'll never know the truth, but if Noel simply recycled the AA sessions, that's a bad move
