Ladies and Gentleman, following weeks of waiting, endless speculation and bitter debate, we've just witnessed the first snippet of The Mighty I. On behalf of the forum I congratulate ourselves. Now I'm off annyoing my girlfriend, listening to the clip at least 80 times in a row until falling asleep on the keyboard of my laptop.
EDIT: On first listen - it's not even a ballad!

It sounds different than I thought it it would. But I didn't really know what to expect so...
Sounds a bit early 70's to me. The melody obviously isn't the hook so it's had to judge that portion of the song. It's not bad or annoying though so that's a positive.
Just waiting for that guitar to doing something massive. Maybe it's just that I know that Johnny Marr is on it. Looking forward to hearing the rest.
Noel never totally disappoints me.
