First impressions is it sounds very NGHFB1-esque, unlike 'ITHOTM' and 'Do The Damage'.
Obviously we need to here it in full, but to me it sounds like it may not be my bag (i.e. It may be a great song, but it's not got what I look for in a song).
Who knows really though, it could turn out amazing! Looking forward to hearing it in full.

Unbelievable. Just give us the bloody song already. It isn't doing any good sitting around unlistened.

I thought it was UK time Monday. Because the video was posted past midnight for the UK. So it's already Sunday. So, tomorrow for them is Monday. Yeah I figured that out about 45 seconds later. No idea if I like it. Sounds completely different than what I was expecting. Not looking good, but then again, it's pretty clear, like others have said, we've not hit the best part of the song. Considering it's a 5 minute song, I'm sure there will be lots of surprises.

Okay, that was NOT what I was expecting. Those few seconds sound good. Love the bass and piano. It sounds a bit dancey but not completely in the same vein as What A Life! I'm looking forward to the rest of the song. I wonder what the chorus will be like.

Sounds encouraging! I said I wanted a more modern feel to this album rather than 60s retro stuff that Oasis, Noel and Beady Eye had done to death since 2000.
Thanfully, its just that - I've got that little melody going in my head which is a good thing.

So, after decades of only listening and ripping off artist from 60s , he is now into disco. I guess album number 3 will be acid house or rap. Than grunge maybe on number 4.

Liked it a lot! "Followed you down to the end of the world"... I've got that line stuck on my head since the first listen. The drums sounds very fresh/very new too. I'm so excited to hear the whole thing.

You know what? I don't give a fuck. I'll see you when I get in at half 3 on Monday and can actually hear the tune...not a b-side, the single cover, 3 pages of analysing what the guy who cuts the producers mums hair said or even what colour pants Noel will wear next Tuesday.

WAL was his big aciiid house choon. Where did this big disco influence suddenly come from? I don't recall him ever mentioning it before this album (or the AA album anyway). Can't help but think that since WAL was a hit he thought my next singles must have a four on the floor beat! |
