This is so good. Perfect combination of commercial pop/rock and indie. Just the right amount of synthesizers, too. Album out in the the autumn.

You beat me to it! I can't wait to listen to this. Their debut wasn't amazing by any means but I still play it on a regular basis. Just a really enjoyable listen. Rock n' roll needs more Brittany Howards

Rock n' roll needs more Brittany Howards first album is great, but the songs sound too "muddy", I don't know. They sound so much better live I'm loving this new album, it's cleaner. Some great tracks also, Shoegaze, Miss You, Over My Head are amazing - besides the known singles "Rock n' roll needs more Brittany Howards" DAMN RIGHT!

Unknown Mortal Orchestra's new album leaked and they just shared a new tune. "Can't Keep Checking My Phone." Shades of Jagwar Ma in this with the tribal rhythm and electronic tinge. soundcloud.com/jagjaguwar/unknown-mortal-orchestra-cant-keep-checking-my-phone. I've loved this band ever since I first heard FFunny FFrends in 2011. They have some similar qualities to Tame Impala in songwriting influence (though Kevin Parker might be a bit better in the songwriting department) and production, but yet they have completely different vibes. A superb live act. Ruban Neilson is one of the best guitar players of his generation.

Finally pre-ordered Weller's new album and 7 inch single today. Really looking forward to it and to see him for 10th time next month.

Was a bit disappointed by Circa Waves, was really looking forward to it. Maybe it'll still grow on me.
They were incredibly average live though

^I found Young Chasers to be a tough first listen because their sound doesn't vary at all. That being said - the individual songs are top notch.

Was a bit disappointed by Circa Waves, was really looking forward to it. Maybe it'll still grow on me. They were incredibly average live though I've seen them supporting The Libertines last year and they were pretty average. Nothing special really. It's a kind of band NME loves to call "the next big thing".

Swim Deep have got some really good tunes, and Peace are my favourite new band by a long way. Think I must have got sucked into the NME hype machine with Circa Waves, should have realised I'd end up feeling let down. Couple of good singles anyway

Couple of good singles anyway No, it was Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam last October. (I'm from The Netherlands). I've seen Peace at London Calling (a showcase style indoor festival in Paradiso) a couple of years ago. I liked them although I thought the singer of the band really tried hard to look like Julian Casablancas. Haven't heard any songs by Swim Deep yet. I'm gonna check them now.

Rose Windows' album is good. Built to Spill's album is good. Mumford & Sons' album is good. Palma Violets' album is good.
Cheers.

New music is great, you just need to find it. I can count at least 65 songs I really like from 2015.

Tame Impala Wolf Alice Black Honey Sisters
For the last two bands, it's not confirmed that they'll release an LP in 2015 but i'm hoping.
I'm very curious to listen what these bands came up with.
