I'm into this really cool indie underground band called Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. You have probably never heard of them, but they are releasing an album in March.

New Coldplay (although it should should continue their downward trend tbh), Slayer (will be interesting to see how the new line-up works together) and Björk (every album is a completely new experience).

NOEL GALLAGHER!!!!
Win Butler's solo album (I guess it will be out this year)
Idlewild
Intrigued to hear Radiohead's new album - thought King of Limbs was very tame and dull (though not without genuinely great moments) so wonder how they will respond. It would be great to hear a full band at play again, and not just some Casio keyboard bleeping and blopping sounding like its having a mid-life crisis.
U2 - A very enjoyable first album - more a trip down memory lane in terms of lyrics and musical influences so nothing new but far better than I hoped for, hopefully Songs of Experience takes influences from the 90s era (the best era of U2).
Coldplay - though you really do have to wonder with a title named 'Head Full Of Dreams'.... Jesus Christ, if that's the most inspired title they can come up with, then you really worry about the music! This HAS to make its mark - Ghost Stories was a nice little breather - nothing more, nothing less, but this is the one that counts. Felt indifferent towards Coldplay's efforts in recent years and nothing has had an effect on me since Viva La Vida. It will be 7 years and counting - time is running out.

Obviously Noel's album I am looking forward too.
Other than Noels, most excited about:
- Beecake album.
- The Real People album (hopefully released this year).

I think you mean Will Butler. His solo album is out the first week in March. I wouldn't hold your breath on U2 releasing another album in 2015. We've all seen this song and dance before. Took 5 years for a follow up to No Line On The Horizon. I have a feeling Coldplay have a new album ready by June, then tour the shit out of it all summer and into the fall. They can breakup in time for Christmas. Chris Martin solo album in September of 2016.

At this point in time albums by the followings bands/artists excite me..................... - Noel Gallagher - Radiohead - Coldplay - Modest Mouse - Will Butler - Kanye West - Mark Ronson I'm not sure what Wilco is up to but I'd love an album in 2015 as well. No new music from them since 2011. Long over due.

I love that you don't like Radiohead. They would be less cool if you jumped on the bandwagon.
