Coldplay NGHFB The Maccabees Of Monsters & Men Chemical Brothers Daughter Mark Ronson Haim Two Door Cinema Club Hoping for new stuff from Radiohead and Sigur Ros as well but not sure if they'll have albums out this year. Can't wait to see where Sigur Ros go next, whether they'll continue the dark sound of Kveikur or back to more "classic" Sigur Ros sound.

Just after I posted I remembered they posted a picture of their new rehearsal space on facebook last year so hopefully that means the new album will be sooner rather than later. I'm pretty excited for the new album as well, like you say it could go in any direction. I'd be quite happy if they continued/developed the Kveikur sound, really enjoyed that album.

I agree I love them to mix the atmospherics of Ageatis with Kveikurs power, maybe even add some electronica for development, also I REALLY want to hear Jonsi explore a deeper vocal range.

I think The Rifles posted something's on New Years Eve about a new album coming in 2015.
I'm always interested to hear what they come out with, I enjoyed quite a few tracks on 2014's 'None The Wiser'. They're true grafters, I'll be very willing to listen to whatever they next give us.

Now you mention them, Tame Impala will presumably have a new album out this year given they're doing festivals in May. Looking forward to that, read an interview with one of the band who said the new record was more electronic than the previous two.

NOEL GALLAGHER!!!! Win Butler's solo album (I guess it will be out this year) Idlewild Intrigued to hear Radiohead's new album - thought King of Limbs was very tame and dull (though not without genuinely great moments) so wonder how they will respond. It would be great to hear a full band at play again, and not just some Casio keyboard bleeping and blopping sounding like its having a mid-life crisis. U2 - A very enjoyable first album - more a trip down memory lane in terms of lyrics and musical influences so nothing new but far better than I hoped for, hopefully Songs of Experience takes influences from the 90s era (the best era of U2). Coldplay - though you really do have to wonder with a title named 'Head Full Of Dreams'.... Jesus Christ, if that's the most inspired title they can come up with, then you really worry about the music! This HAS to make its mark - Ghost Stories was a nice little breather - nothing more, nothing less, but this is the one that counts. Felt indifferent towards Coldplay's efforts in recent years and nothing has had an effect on me since Viva La Vida. It will be 7 years and counting - time is running out. Win Butler? I think you mean Will Butler. His solo album is out the first week in March. I wouldn't hold your breath on U2 releasing another album in 2015. We've all seen this song and dance before. Took 5 years for a follow up to No Line On The Horizon. I have a feeling Coldplay have a new album ready by June, then tour the shit out of it all summer and into the fall. They can breakup in time for Christmas. Chris Martin solo album in September of 2016. Haha, obviously! I get mixed up with them all the time, they do look a like. Same with Coldplay, I went years thinking Guy Berryman was the guitarist, and Jonny Buckland the bass player!

Looking forward to that, read an interview with one of the band who said the new record was more electronic than the previous two. As you mentioned Tame Impala are about due for a new album. Last one came out September 2012. The question is when did Kevin Parker have time to record it all? Tame Impala have literally been touring nonstop since Lonerism dropped. Granted I have no idea when he recorded his 3-4 songs off the new Mark Ronson album either. Really looking forward to that as well. Daffodil sounds amazing.

Yeah I wasn't expecting a new album until the end of the year as I thought they'd take quite a while off (well, maybe not off but doing stuff with all the other bands they're all in) but they're doing Austin Psych Fest in May so I'd be surprised if the album isn't out by the summer at the latest. There's been a few 2-3 month gaps in the tour as well so hopefully Kevin's recorded some songs during that time. I'm interested to hear what his songs on the Mark Ronson album end up like as well, I'm assuming that like Daffodil the rest are some of the funk/disco songs Kevin wrote and played at those few gigs they did in Australia early last year under a different name (can't remember what name, although it was something to do with Kevin Spacey iirc).

The only album I'm reaaaally looking forward to is CY.
I'd like to hear Coldplay's album, but I didn't LOVE this one so I might not be too motivated to listen once it comes out.
I really need to check out more Tame Impala.
Will definitely check out Mark Ronson's album once it comes out. Heard Uptown Funk and I love it!

The Coral Ed Harcourt Richard Ashcroft Cat Power Beach House French Wives What makes you think The Coral will release a new album? Nothing, but I just think it's time. 4 years since their fantastic "Butterfly House" and I wasn't very impressed with James' solo album. The Coral are such a fine, great band. Also I agree with scott1, I love The Rifles. Saw them 3 times and they're truly great live. I have to add 2 more on my list: - Weller's new album wich will be out in a couple of months - Sigur Ros

They've plans to tour next year I know that much, not sure about a new album though.

They're meant to be takin' some guy who used to play guitar with The Zutons in for the tour.

I loved `Butterfly House` and I still do. It was one of my best albums from 2010. I did see them for the first time when they supported Oasis in 2005, but didn´t know about them much back in time. `Butterfly House` made me got into them. Such a fantastic ablum was that.

Chasing Yesterday, then nothing in particular.
The Stone Roses new album, if they're going to release it. And some stuff from new bands like Temples, Royal Blood, Superfood etc. if they will release something.
I don't like Muse, Coldplay nor Radiohead. So I don't care about them.
