Gustafson isn't THAT bad. [/quote] Oh yes, Chad does push the envelope to say the least haha About like what Beady Eye was trying to do with BE. I love the airiness Dave Sitek provided to some of those tracks. Like the outro of "Soul Love", and the song itself, it sounds awesome with that effect. The song itself, and not necessarily the passable lyrics, is pretty cool.

if this 'n if that...oasis/beady eye/we/i fans seem to live in another universe, probably still in the 90s...
once again i have to tell that imo Beady Eye actually didnt fail at all. the times we are living are different for any indie/rock band (to survive and make it in the charts).
f.e.Kasabian hardly made it with their last album and survive with their live gigs, Royal Blood had promo and a #1 album but faded away from the charts and the sales very fast, Manic Street Preachers released 2 great albums with excellent reviews but their chart performances-sales were even worse than BE, Franz Ferdinand (with good reviews) and The Strokes failed miserably, Foo Fighters last album was hardly the rock album the rock scene wanted to breathe, Smashing Pumpkins made it in i-tunes-oh well for a week and ...etc
its so hard to think a few guitar bands that made it in charts-sales (arctic monkeys, queens of the stone age).can you really name more that 2-3 bands? and please dont mention Coldplay or Bastille...
Look at last Noel comments about Oasis and the state of music today "... Oasis 'would have nowhere near the same impact' today..." and that statement is FgS about Oasis! How can you expect Beady Eye to "make" it after all?
imo, Beady Eye probably failed only in the eyes of Liam Gallagher and his desicion to split Beady Eye should have nothing to do with their success (charts-sales). Wrong desicion for sure. Even if Liam Gallagher will come back with a "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" quality album his succeess would be even worse than BE's...

leak4ever, we got your opinion about Beady Eye. Now you really need to move on, same to tomlivesforever. Thanks. Fair enough, I was just replying to tomlivesforever but I'll tone it down a bit

leak4ever, we got your opinion about Beady Eye. Now you really need to move on, same to tomlivesforever. Thanks. I have successfully moved on, trolls are only fun for a little while. Lol says the loon who got his knickers in a twist at a post not even directed at him. You're not kidding anyone mate. There's a bigger chance of Oasis reforming than you ever moving on from your Liam lovefest.
