It would be hard to convince me that this song is not about Liam I'm pretty sure it's about an old girlfriend. Took his guitar (which he loves), took his clothes... The person has angel eyes. Hid his poems and prose (his music). And he's pleading, obviously for the person to return. That's a literal take on it. I suppose it could be metaphors and symbolism to mean Liam, but I doubt it. I think it's plainly about a girl that he loved who left and took a lot of his shit. We've all heard this story. Did Noel not have a long term girlfriend around the beginning of Oasis. "Lousie" or something she was called.

He did speak about her a little early on too, I'm sure he's openly said married with children was her view of him at some point too?

She was a receptionist at a music PR company and when Noel met her she was manager of a Benetton shop, apparently.

It's about that episode of Californication when Hank picks up that girl and she ends up stealing his guitar and all his vinyl albums when he's asleep.

It could be the same girl that was the protagonist of Married With Children and Noel's only just seen the error of his ways. On first listen, Liam was on my mind.

Quick question: has Noel ever talked about this track? In a Japanese interview, maybe...

I love this song! I think it is my favourite one from the Chasing Yesterday project. It's simple but it sounds very well, very positive. I would put it over the other songs of the album so far.

Yeah the only song that sounds really spontaneous and fresh, not too overproduced, although it's a classic Noel obsession with the Beatles. This and The Songs Remain the same have that fresh sound to them. The rest of the record kinda bores me now, in parts. sadly.

Really hoping we get to hear this one live, but as he's already been to Japan and not done it, I doubt we will...
Should have been one of the songs off the bonus disc and left the Toy Drum remix for the Japanese version. The Japanese always get such good bonus tracks, let us be lucky like them for once!
(I know the reason why they get bonus tracks, no need to go into that again)
