Not surprised. He didn't do anything to keep it up there, so why would it stay. That's why peak positions don't matter. It's how long you stay in there that matters. For once it would be nice to see a Gallagher related project not only chart high but stick around and even elevate its position. That hasn't happened for them since 1996. It's always the same song and dance. Quick impact and a quick slide down.

Above is the chart run for HFB's: 3 Weeks in the Top 5 7 weeks in the top 10 24 weeks in the top 20 42 weeks in the top 40. I get what you're saying, but that's the definition of sticking around.

Those are the 'musicians' of this younger generation.music are dying really.those songs are repetetive and forgettable.I'm 18 and I'm regret when I kinda loves this kind of 'music' years ago. Well if your 18 at least there's hope .......

At least they had #1s in some countries. Highest position Oasis had here was #8 with Wonderwall. DLBIA was 36 or something and D'You Know What I Mean charted somewhere low as well. I think Go Let It Out charted somewhere low and was the last song to chart here in the top50. Their albums did pretty well though. I believe DOYS was #5 and HFB was #11 or something.
Sad that it never lasts long though.

In Italy they were quite big.
DM // WTSMG #7 BHN #1 SOTSOG #1 HC #2 DBTT #1 DOYS #1
Go let it out, the Hindu times, SCYHO and The importance of being idle #1s. Plus 5 songs Top 10.
Strangely they always played in small venues like The Alcatraz (NGHFB and BDI played there too). Don't know if they were "San Siro" material, though.

Id say outside of the uk, Italy is the single biggest country thats loves oasis, think cos of that itialian flare/style/attitude/arrogance italy just get Gallagher. Japan is a close tho and then a whole continent of south america I love the del piero / oasis love in

They don't like their attitude etc. Attitude is a problem, if you do something like that Liam did in the 90s over here in Italy you have a big problem. Coldplay and Muse are big too. Muse played at both San Siro and Olimpico Roma. Arctic Monkeys not really, MAYBE Kasabian are more popular. Certainly before AM came out.

I'm talking traditionally rather than right now but traditionally they were big there .. if not now same as everywhere else for a band that split 5 years ago etc etc

1:50 Ok, now stop with this OT Not being OT if you look at most of Europe oasis basically don't exist .. most european gigs are tiny venues and even then 1/2 full of UK people as cheap to go to / travel those gigs. Italy has defo more 'fans' than rest of Europe not meaing that badly to european fans : /

69 dude... massive drop. Think all the fans that bought 4 copies week one didnt help (as all oasis related releases)
take that go to number 1 with no promotion and being on YT / vevo for 6 weeks etc
