I have never heard anyone Noel song on the radio in the states. I have requested them too. I have heard Beady Eye, but it was "The Roller", which was more of a splash since it was the first post Oasis release. I heard that a few times on the radio here, but that's it. I have requested since 01 in nyc ......then since the split. I've been in Florida ive tried every station never once did they listen , they'll play the 3 big ones , I was literally told there is no market here ( meaning the station ) for noel or liam solo by 101.1 in orlando the biggest rock station in central fla |

If I had a Gun was played somewhere in the US  But seriously, IIHAG went #25 on alt. Rock charts in the US. If I remember correctly it got heavy airplay in places like Texas, California, Boston, Philli, D.C., decent airplay in Ohio, Detroit, Milwaukee. And a tad bit in Seattle. If you're from Florida or anywhere in the south or south east of the US then it probably passes you by. He got his most airplay in the west/southwest, northern Midwest, and the northeast of the US. |

yeah #26 isn't bad at all. I mean he's done very little to promote the single actually. It didn't break wind here in the States. Sad Listen i said this would happen a month ago but a few not from the states thought I was nuts. Some even thought a top 15. As Lennon2217 said there is nothing being done , no MTV , vh1 ,no radio support , the Uk fans just don t get it , outside of a OASIS. reunion ( which ain't happening ). The brothers are not being played individually by major stations or even mid major in states , and as for under 25 year olds. They'll look at you as if you have 3 eyes if you mention noel or bdi. Mention oasis thats different. Been saying this forever .....and your right it's SAD Huh? I don't think anyone said that this single would go top 15 in the US? If I remember correctly, people said this current album had a chance of going top 15 in the right week. Which isn't a long shot. As I said, it's not as if Noel got zero airplay here with IIHAG. If he had put a little bit more focus here there was a market for it, especially considering it went #25 on the alt. Rock charts with little effort or promotion. America is about effort. Anyone can sell here, it's about putting the effort in. The issue and Noel/BDI/Oasis was never willing to put the effort here post 2000. That's why I keep saying that Noel should not spend his time promoting his next single in the UK. He should focus on markets like Japan and the US. Oasis went top 5 here with DOYS. The market is still there. 116k in sales didn't just disappear. |

spaneli I may have confused LP wirh single your right sorry ,,,,, but honestlly noel promoting more or not I don't think it will fly well the buzz is not there , Oasis did hit 5. But as much as us die hards know noel is huge PEICE of Oasis , most people just know them as fighting brothers , I don't see the average person putting HFB WITH OASIS ...certainly not if the kids here in Florida and those who work at fye are to be judges , they look at me like I'm speaking chinese when I ask of noel Gallagher , or beady eye , so I think he is right in his promotion , he will get what he gets here no matter imo .....I hope number 1 as always , but of course no that ain't happening

That Meghan Trainor song is awesome. And Tom Odell's single is a cover of a John Lennon song. It was used in an incredibly cute Christmas commercial for a British warehouse of which the name is escaping me right now.
The rest is either crap or I'm not familiar with it

It's sad because here in Italy when i was 14-15 (i'm 20 now) we were all into rock music. Guns N Roses, AC/DC, Oasis (Importance of being idle was a cracker #1 in Italy), even Pink Floyd.
Now all the kids in the High Schools (5 years in Italy, 14-19 more or less) are into Rap and house music. They dress all the same (fuckin' new era hats and nba shirts) and they are pretty stupid too.
