Let's hope Noel is doing fine in the physical sales. I'm sure it'll sell well, I've already seen adverts on TV, hopefully people will be picking it up in Tescos! On preorders alone he must have shifted a shit load already.

Albums out today and hardly anyone is on the forums. Well, that's a bit underwhelming. Was the same when HFB came out. I remember being a bit gutted as everyone was over the excitement by then. Imagine if we'd had this place for the Be Here now release but with no leaks...would have been mental

I remember a few mates all got together and had a night in the a pub near Gatwick, then went to get the album at midnight... then all listening to it until 6am whilst carrying on drinking... Don't get that anymore.

Hopefully he'll not sell all his copies this week as he can beat Madonna for a 2 consecutive #1. That would be mega, but the lady there is promoting a lot the album. Also there's this streaming thing, Madonna will do better than him in that.
Spotify UK Chart, artists #27 NGHFB
Albums #14 CY
Wow, on iTunes Italy he's #3 and 15. He's matching Jovanotti and Nek, this is really big guys, i can tell you that. Jovanotti sells out San Siro (he'll play 3 dates there indeed) and Olimpico Stadium whenever he wants and Nek arrived 2nd at Festival di Sanremo.

It's hard to say if he will keep up, but he will also do some promotion in the next weeks...and if the next single is "The Dying of the Light" he will go well... Noel has a solid fanbase and I can tell that "Ballad of the Mighty I" is getting more airtime, Italy is a good market for him.

Noel sales so far 48.635 great start in the uk That's more than last week's #1 in only 24 hours Well, that's more than BE's first week sales. By tomorrow he'll sell more copies than BE in 2 years. NGHFB sold 55k copies after 2 days

so Beady Eye are BIGGER than NGHFB in Japan god bless? Might want to make that BIGGER, smaller. You're talking about a couple thousand copies, big win. I guess. Both those numbers are/were disappointing for both artists. Considering how much Oasis sold there these numbers should be considered failures. Saying one is bigger there is like saying you're the tallest midget, except one midget expired (broke up) while the other is still continuing on. However, they're still highly disappointing for both.

Sooner than later it was bound to happen, they are not getting any younger and considering Noel has barely doing any promotion on Japan(besides the Q&A videos). This. It just doesn't make sense to me that Noel uses the brunt of his promotional force in a country he knows he'll go #1 in, while he let's other markets whither away.

Yea, let's not think that. Cause you know, that's completely slanted toward Noel, failure on both sides.
